Continued in a rich vein of form when successful at Haydock last week, battling on well once hitting the front late. Penalty to carry here but effectively a class above these, should handle the track and every chance of another victory tonight.

Has improved a little on each of his three starts, and breeding suggests this step up in trip may well suit on his handicap debut here. Bit to prove as far as the track goes, but open to improvement and on that, chance has to be respected.

Ran best race to date when a staying-on third at Lingfield last time out, so is going in the right direction, but hat was over 12f and this drop back in trip not necessarily a positive. May have to wait until another day to break his duck.

Seems to be slowly getting the hang of things and her close third at Doncaster reads well enough (second a winner next time out). Has to show she acts on the track but trip fine, and likely to do better again. One to be interested in.

First start for new yard (formerly Richard Hannon) but not going anywhere quickly at present, and addition of cheekpieces did little when tried in April. Trip an unknown too and can only be watched here.

Keeps hitting the frame in his races but is finding pushing his head in front hard, hung his chance away again at Brighton last time out (beaten on the nod) and that's a worry here. Should run his race but a surprise if something isn't too good.

Caused a big surprise when a 20-1 at Windsor in June, beating Juneau just over a length and is actually better off here. question is whether she'll reproduce that, given earlier patchy profile, but obvious chance if she can.

Only minor promise shown in four starts and no guarantees this step up in trip will suit. Plenty to prove at present and others readily preferred.

Forecasts

Berkshire Spirit (5/4), Juneau (3/1), Couldn't Could She (9/2), Bossiney Bay (6/1), Royal Household (16/1), Yayoon (25/1), Metatrons Cube (28/1), Becky Sharp (33/1)

Verdict

At thew weights, Juneau has a task on to beat Couldn't Could She on their Windsor form but she's improved again since and could get involved, especially if she's allowed an easy lead. But YAYOON is open to plenty of improvement at this trip and gets a visor for the first time, so a better effort may well be forthcoming. Berkshire Spirit tends to be thereabouts in his races and should pick up some prizemoney.
