Form has an in and out look about it, however his best two runs of 2018 have come in class 4 contests. 1-3 on AW tracks and this much easier than last time.
Lingfield winner off this mark in April and highly tried on last two starts. Has scored here previously and stable have been going well.
Obvious claims if taking his third to Watersmeet at face value. His two runs since, however, confirm that performance was flattering and this trip may be on the short side.
Dead-heated off mark of 84 in 2m handicap at Chelmsford in January but has run poorly since then including a seller last time.
2-3 around here and her three career victories have come at odds of 20/1, 33/1 and a dead-heat at 50/1. All those successes have been followed by mediocre runs next time.
His two wins came at Southwell but he has track form which gives him a chance. Out of his depth on both starts this term, but they should have put him right after a layoff and any market confidence would be significant.
The form of his Wolverhampton victory failed to work out and he has failed to fire on either start on return from a 14 month absence. Less exposed than most and handicap mark is falling.
320,000 gns purchase is just 1-13 but has improved since stepping up in trip. Stable enjoying a better spell and latest run suggests this is a workable mark if stepping up considerably on previous AW starts.
Well-supported when opening his account in a modest Newcastle maiden. No match for an easy winner on return, but feasibly treated and yard are in better form now.
Scored here for John Gosden but lost his way having gone hurdling. Has twice gone well for this rider in 2018 and and a 3lb drop in the weights does no harm.
Goes particularly well at Beverley but he was a disappointing favourite there last time. Consistency is not a strong suit but even his best does not look good enough.
2-26 record and still above his last winning mark. Others appeal as being more attractively weighted and he is better suited to running in lower grades.
His second run back from a layoff suggested it had been worth the wait, but he has flopped on both starts since. Possible to excuse the trip and tactics for those efforts, but still hard to see him scoring. Cheekpieces on for first time.

After a slow start to the season Roger Charlton's Beckhampton string are in full flow and MAGELLAN looks set to open his account for the campaign. He was easy to back on his return when no match for a positively ridden winner, but that should have put him straight and he looks attractively weighted judged by the authority with which he scored at Newcastle. Vincent's Forever and Armandihan are also on good marks, whilst High Command is down in trip/class after two runs back from an absence.
