€1,500 (vendor) yearling. Dam 1m2f/1m4f AW winner, half-sister to useful 1m4f winner Calatrava Cape out of 1m4f winning half-sister to 1m4f Listed winner Persian Lightning. Stable yet to have juvenile AW winner this year (usually 8%). One to watch.
16-1, slowly into stride and not competitive on his debut in a Salisbury auction contest last month (6f, good to firm). Stable 1-5 with AW juveniles this year, so market check advisable with improvement probable for that first run.
66-1, slowly away and always behind on debut when last of 14, beaten 37L at Salisbury (6f, good to firm) last month. There is some AW success in his pedigree, but we need to see much more before he can be considered.
Not devoid of promise in two starts to date, both on turf. Will need some improvement on that to figure, but couldn't rule that out.
Went close on his second start in a novice auction contest at Beverley (5f, good to firm) in May. Not far off that form in a decent York seller (6f) last time. Cheekpieces now fitted and he looks a leading contender.
Improved from his first run to his second, though that it not saying a whole lot. Makes AW debut here, but already looking likely to prove more interesting when handicapping.
Supported and sent off as favourite on debut at Carlisle last month (6f, good to firm), when he finished 3½L third. That form look solid and he is entitled to make the short-list again.
Behind Simon's Smile on debut at Carlisle, when also supported, but that was a dip below his own debut form. Entitled to plenty of respect and if he can find some improvement, he could go close.
12-1 and a drifter on debut, when she did her best work late on under Silvestre De Sousa at Nottingham (6f, good to firm). That was a promising effort and with 5lb claimed here she has to be taken very seriously.

Forecasts
Simon's Smile (2/1), Theatre Of War (11/4), Curfewed (4/1), Minas Gerais (8/1), Wayfaring Stranger (11/1), Rosamour (12/1), Ocean Rouge (16/1), Bug Boy (33/1), Mac Ailey (40/1), Kandinsky (100/1), Geyser (100/1)
Several in this have claims and the suggestion is to side with ROSAMOUR, who made a pleasing debut on turf last time. She can improve for that and with 5lb claimed here, she might just be up to winning. Theatre Of War, Simon's Smile and Minas Gerais are all of interest, while market checks looks prudent for newcomer Wayfaring Stranger and also Curfewed.
