Refitted with a visor when scoring at Lingfield and struggled since off revised ratings. Signs last time that he was becoming more attractively weighted, but headgear left off.

Triple Wolverhampton winner who has been well-beaten on both turf starts. Claims if transferring his AW form but last two efforts were less convincing.

From a good family and accordingly fetched 420,000 gns as a yearling. Looks distinctly moderate on available evidence and headgear removed.

Off the mark at Wetherby but beaten there off this mark next time. Too keen that day and this looks easier.

Has developed two ways of running and hard to predict his moods. Blinkers clearly failed last time and a visor is preferred here. Claims on a going day.

Has one good effort on his CV from a year ago. Unable to recommend on subsequent efforts and he has been off three months.

New mark is 39 so plenty to do here as 7lb "wrong". Almost two years since his last win and recent efforts warrant his current mark.

Sprint bred and tackles a new trip in a bid to reverse a loss of form. Stable can produce a shock at this venue, but there are few solid grounds on which to recommend him.

Mistress Nelliep19
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-3| J: Gabriele Malune(5)| T: W Stone| OR:  45

Has failed to land a blow in all four starts including her handicap bow. Out of the weights with cheekpieces added.

Forecasts

Racehorse (11/4), Slipstream (3/1), Johni Boxit (9/2), Mime Dance (8/1), Mistress Nellie (10/1), Lord Murphy (12/1), Lord Guest (12/1), Percy Toplis (20/1), Kelpie Spirit (40/1)

Verdict

It is difficult to enthuse over many of these but RACEHORSE looked progressive when scoring at Wetherby before proving too headstrong last time. Mime Dance is back up to his best trip but the lack of headgear is a slight worry, whilst Johni Boxit is unreliable but is capable if the visor helps him to co-operate.
  1. Racehorse
  2. Mime Dance
  3. Johni Boxit
