Both wins have come at this venue, most recently off 5lb lower in a C&D handicap in November. Well held at Newmarket in May when last seen, though, and needs to bounce back to his best now.
Two years since last win for Ger Lyons, and failed to go on from promising start for Ralph Beckett last term. Gelded since and has also had win surgery, but something to prove on return from absence for new yard.
Goes well here as a rule, but form has dipped in recent starts, for all hold-up tactics wouldn't have suited last time, and he's best left alone until showing signs of a revival.
Both wins have come here, most recently when beating Dash of Spice over 1m3f in May. Runner-up has won at Epsom and Royal Ascot since, and that form looks very strong. Should prove hard to beat.
Dual winner at up to this trip on turf last year, and ran creditably on penultimate start at Haydock. Poor effort over C&D last time needs forgiving, however, and others preferred now.
Brought up a hat-trick of handicap wins over C&D in March, but he hasn't been in the same form in three starts since, albeit meeting interference when down the field at Goodwood last time. Questions to answer at present.
Has won twice over C&D earlier this year, and produced another career best when head second of 14 to West Coast Flyer here on his latest start. Ought to give another good account.

BUZZ is very hard to oppose given he beat Dash of Spice here on his latest start, and the runner-up has won both starts since at major meetings. Hughie Morrison's four-year-old may have most to fear from Native Fighter, who also goes very well here, although it wouldn't do to rule out Roar, who is better than he showed on debut for Roger Charlton at Windsor.
