Course winner who won a Leopardstown Group 3 last year. That seemingly wasn't the strongest race for the grade and he's struggled upped in class since. May struggle to concede weight to these rivals.
Career best effort when making it three wins from seven career starts at Leopardstown in Listed company last time. More needed in a deeper race here but unexposed at least.
Won back-to-back races at Cork in the spring, the latter of which was a wide margin heavy ground success. Only narrowly denied by Zorion last time out and may be able to reverse the form with that rival now 3lb better off at the weights.
Won his first two starts, both at Dundalk and the latter in Listed class. Hasn't been quite as effective in two starts away from AW though and very disappointing when tailed off over C&D last time. Others preferred.
Gained his first win since her maiden success here last time out in Listed class over 1m2f. Manner of that win was impressive and she would appear to have the speed for this drop in trip so not ruled out if she can build on that.
Last seen winning a maiden at Del Mar for Bob Baffert. Full-brother to American Triple Crown winner American Pharaoh and there's every chance he will improve for this stable. Interesting runner up in trip.
Forecasts
I'm So Fancy (5/2), St Patrick's Day (5/2), Alexios Komnenos (7/2), Allegio (6/1), Zorion (7/1), Ambassadorial (16/1)
ST PATRICK'S DAY is a fascinating contender and the full brother to American Triple Crown hero American Pharoah is likely to improve for the step up in trip here on yard debut. I'm So fancy bounced back with a better effort last time while Allegio is taken to reverse form with Zorion from last time now returning on more favourable terms.
