Lightly-raced front runner who has shown improved form the last twice including on turf debut. This track may well suit her and with improvement still to come can make a bold bid.
Now 2lb lower than last winning mark but needs to find improvement on recent form. Probably flattered by defeated margin last time in a slowly run race and well beaten on only previous try over this C&D.
Lightly-raced and progressive in handicaps with a win and a second at Wolverhampton. Tough ask last time and this looks much more suitable. Rates a leading contender.
Has raced to a consistent level in three runs this season and gets a welcome drop in class. Can go well but remains 5lb higher than last win and others look better handicapped.
Was a bit unlucky when last seen in December, finding plenty of trouble in running behind Archipeligo. Went well fresh on seasonal reappearance last season and resumes off a very competitive mark. Looks a leading hope.
Placed in four of five starts for William Haggas but well beaten on handicap, seasonal and stable debut and remains best watched.
Now 3lb lower than last winning mark and gets a welcome drop in grade. Possible she could bounce back and holds possibilities.
Has shown little in four starts this season including in first-time blinkers (removed) latest. Mark is plummeting but needs a major reversal in fortunes.
Gets a handy pull in the weights from his third to Weather Front. Sole win came in 2015 and generally consistent without getting his head in front. Place possibilities again off an attractive mark.
Went close off this mark over the C&D in October but has struggled off lower last twice on turf. First-time visor needs to spark improvement.
Formerly trained by Richard Fahey has shown enough in four starts for new stable to suggest he can be competitive off this current mark. Drop in trip should help and open to improvement on the AW. One for the shortlist.
Generally consistent performer who has six career wins on the AW compared to one on turf. Twice a C&D winner who should be competitive off current mark.
Well beaten on last two starts on turf but possible he's better on this surface and remains on a competitive mark just 2lb higher than C&D win in March. Could be involved but stable struggling at present.
Has really taken to this C&D with a second and two wins. Up 4lb for latest success but could well be ahead of the handicapper still in his preferred conditions and looks sure to go well.
Forecasts
Weather Front (5/2), Frown (4/1), Cadeau Magnifique (15/2), Rayaa (8/1), Purple Rock (9/1), Caramuru (12/1), My Brother Mike (14/1), Archipeligo (16/1), Snookered (16/1), Royal Shaheen (20/1), Sparte Quercus (25/1), Maulesden May (50/1), Man Of Verve (66/1), Pretty Passe (66/1)
Frown should ensure a decent pace and she suggests that with more experience there will be plenty more progress to come. That should however suit WEATHER FRONT who won in good style last time to continue an excellent record over the C&D. Cadeau Magnifique finished behind the selection last time and can place again while Purple Rock returns on a good mark. Caramuru looks the main danger with more improvement to come back down in grade.
- Weather Front
- Caramuru
- Cadeau Magnifique
