This year's renewal looks to be a competitive affair with four last time out winners bidding to defy the attentions of the handicapper and some unexposed horses such as Global Excel and Hold Your Breath seeking breakthrough victories. However, we'll stick to the tried and tested route and opt for the Ed De Giles-trained 2017 runner up Swanton Blue; he demonstrated his current well-being when forcing the pace throughout to win on his comeback run at Chepstow.
