Landed a messy race at Lingfield which did not suit the long odds-on favourite. Handicapper has taken a literal view of the form and his last run would indicate that was an unfair assessment. Down 3lb but still too high in the weights for comfort.
Made all to win a third race in this grade at Brighton (1m2f). Improved considerably that day on previous form so could well shake off a 6lb rise in the weights. Has the pace to cope with a drop to a mile.
Record now stands at 1-26 and this year's efforts do not signal an end to a losing run stretching back to April 2016.
Winner off marks of 80 and 86 last summer in this grade. Excuses for his performances this year and he drops in class. Wants a good pace and Flying North should guarantee that.
Runner-up in a competitive event at Ascot last year and best run since came when dropped to this mark last time. Down in class for this and could gain an overdue win.
Landed a quick brace last summer but hit by the handicapper as a result. Better last time and placed three times in similar company.
Made all to land his maiden at Killarney last year for Dermot Weld. Joined this yard for £11,000 and may need this first run since last August.
Winner of nine races who has gone 12 runs without a win. Has two course wins over 7f, but stays this far and well enough treated to be earn serious consideration.
