Progressive filly who has been too strong for Glamorous Approach in winning both her races this season. Should confirm the form and looks a leading contender,
Experienced filly who has found Bloomfield too good for her on both starts this term. No obvious reason why she should turn the tables, but has prospects of hitting the frame.
Winner of two of her five races, but was behind Bloomfield and Glamorous Approach on her reappearance run at Gowran Park. Needs to find plenty if she is to turn round the form.
Had Naughty Or Nice behind, but Bloomfield and Glamorous Approach ahead of her when third at Gowran Park last month. Difficult to envisage a change in the pecking order this time.
Well held in Listed and Group 3 company this season. Looks to have plenty on her plate and is readily opposed.
By no means disgraced when fifth of nine in the Oaks at Epsom last time. This is a much easier assignment and she looks sure to play a leading role.
Justified favouritism in a Leopardstown maiden before finishing second in a Group 3 contest at The Curragh. Seems to be well regarded and may improve for this step up in trip.
Third contender for her powerful stable, but is hard to fancy on this season's efforts, including when third of seven at Listed level at The Curragh last time.
Promising maiden who should win races in due course. She looks to be flying too high on this occasion, however.
Forecasts
Jaega (9/4), Flattering (5/2), Bloomfield (5/2), Glamorous Approach (7/1), Sizzling (16/1), Easter Lily (20/1), Naughty Or Nice (33/1), Written Word (40/1), Remarkable Lady (66/1)
Oaks fifth Flattering looks the best of three runners from her top stable and Bloomfield's two wins this season give her the measure of three of her rivals in Glamorous Approach, Naughty Or Nice and Remarkable Lady. She is much respected, but it may well be worth giving another chance to JAEGA, who has been well backed on both her starts and should have learned plenty from her defeat in Group 3 company last time.
- Jaega
- Bloomfield
- Flattering
