Kitten's Joy colt, scored twice on AW to end last season at around this sort of trip. Returned with solid Haydock effort (1m4f, good) last month and there should be more to come back over perfect trip.
Second in a maiden at Glorious Goodwood to recent Derby runner-up Dee Ex Bee and followed up with a Sandown maiden win that has worked out particularly well. Close fourth on Doncaster handicap bow (1m, good to firm) on return and should progress.
Farhh colt, cost 100,000 gns as a yearling. Got off the mark in 11-runner event at Nottingham (1m½f, good to firm) last month. Makes handicap debut, up in distance and looks likely player.
Making progress this year, winning on AW at Lingfield in January and again at Wetherby (1m, good to firm) this month in novice auction. Stable in form (9-30), needs to improve going handicapping to maintain winning ways.
Maiden winner at Doncaster for Clive Cox last term but below that level in a trio of starts at Meydan for new yard. Bit to prove for now, check betting.
Nicely bred sort, surprise 33/1 winner on AW at Kempton on debut last year. Fair effort on handicap bow at Sandown this month (1m, good) on what was his fourth start. Goes beyond a mile now with first-time blinkers added.
Improved effort sporting first-time cheekpieces in Salisbury handicap over similar trip last month (second). Visor is tried now (cheekpieces discarded) and is worth considering having gone up the minimum.
Two AW wins during 2017 but underwent wind surgery over the winter and so far hasn't appeared to enjoy benefits from it. Well beat this month at Doncaster on soft, work to be done.
Lightly-raced Bated Breath filly, going the right way in two starts this season. Won at Windsor (1m, good) last month and 5lb rise to deal with now over furlong longer. Capable of getting into this.
Best form so far and sole win has come with give in the ground and doesn't look particularly well handicapped despite solid effort on seasonal bow at Doncaster (1m, soft) when third of seven.
Won first time out for this trainer over a mile at Windsor last month, showing improved form in doing so. Goes up 4lb and finds a tougher race here, so another step up required.
Forecasts
Ibraz (7/4), Deyaarna (13/2), Bathsheba Bay (7/1), Kassar (15/2), Mahaarat (10/1), Simply Breathless (11/1), Hasanoanda (12/1), Chai Chai (14/1), Gossip Column (16/1), Blue Laureate (20/1), Guvenor's Choice (33/1)
BATHSHEBA BAY shaped well enough on handicap debut at Doncaster despite being a bit keen. There should be more to come from him, given his maiden form behind Dee Ex Bee last term, over this trip and he can provide Richard Hannon with what would be a welcome winner ahead of Royal Ascot. Ibraz got off the mark at Nottingham recently and is respected now turning to handicaps while Mahaarat and Simply Breathless command interest in what appears an open heat.
