Listed winner at Royal Ascot last summer and a group-race winner in France as a juvenile. Form in two starts this year a long way below that, needs returning blinkers to spark a revival.
Winner of good-ground C&D handicap in April, held next time in York Listed event over the trip on good to firm, as has proved the case in the past at this level. Did go close in National Stakes here last year, so not one to cross off.
Winning reappearance at York (5f, good to firm) in a handicap last month, just denied follow up at Windsor since conceding weight. Lightly-raced Kodiac colt looks worthy of a crack at this level.
Down the field in Listed company on first run since wind surgery. 100,000 gns purchase had some smart juvenile form with fourth in Listed Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot (won by Sound And Silence) and third in Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes. Must improve.
Third behind Haddaf over C&D before winning 5f handicap at Chester last month. Improving sort who likes this place. Not ruled out.
Salisbury winner last year on debut in 5f novice event, only run once since (third at Bath over this trip in April) and is taking on by some way his toughest task yet in this line-up.
Filly hasn't cut any ice in her two starts and looks to be a forlorn hope stepping up significantly in class for this. Hard to make any case for.
Rapid improver on the AW around the turn of the year, winning five on the spin. Has acquitted herself well in three Listed races back on turf this spring over 5f/6f, without looking like winning. Needs to find extra.
Best effort so far came when landing a handicap at Bath over 5½f on good to firm last month. Well in Listed Haydock event over 6f since and possibly not suited on soft last time at Goodwood. Drop in trip suits, but she must improve.
Nottingham maiden winner last year, has run in some tough contest since without success and likely to face a similar fate in this.
