Winner of three races last year and put a couple of disappointing efforts behind him when third over 7f at Ayr (good-to-firm) last time. Races off a mark 3lb lower than for his latest success.
Placed over 5f at Ripon (good-to-soft) in April and not beaten far when finishing fifth at York (5f, good-to-firm) last time. Has won over C&D in the past.
Sole success came on heavy ground at Haydock (6f) last September. Placed on first two starts this term but disappointed last time. Interesting if putting that latest effort behind him.
Winning for the second time when victorious over 6f at Chelmsford last month. Finished fourth over 6f here subsequently and likely more needed if she's to take this contest.
Dual winner last year including over C&D in September and ran well to finish third over C&D on seasonal debut last month. Return to this trip in his favour following a heavy defeat over 6f last time.
Good effort in finishing third in a valuable 6f handicap at Newmarket (good-to-firm) on handicap debut last month. Good third back over this trip subsequently and is one for the shortlist once more.
Successful on good-to-soft ground at Catterick last October and not beaten far on handicap debut at York (5f, good-to-firm) last time. Interesting to see how she fares in this.
Has run well in defeat the last twice including when 3L second in first time cheekpieces (retained) at Redcar (5f, good-to-firm) last time. Races off the same mark here.
Impressive winner at Bath (5f, good-to-firm) last June but has struggled since and finished well beaten in a valuable 6f contest at Newmarket (good-to-firm) last time out. Others hold stronger claims.
Disappointing in three starts this term most recently when last of nine over 5f at Redcar (good-to-firm) just under three weeks ago. Probably best watched at present.

Fool For You (7/4), Midsummer Knight (5/2), Gold Filigree (13/2), Billy Dylan (8/1), Joegogo (10/1), Dahik (12/1), Feebs (14/1), Porchy Party (14/1), Angel Force (20/1), John Kirkup (33/1), Brandy Station (50/1)
MIDSUMMER KNIGHT can take advantage of a drop in grade to take this competitive looking three-year-old handicap. The selection has placed in 0-105 contests the last twice and with a good draw here he is taken to get the better of previous C&D winner Billy Dylan who has placed off a higher mark in the past. Feebs ran poorly last time but a repeat of either of his two previous efforts should see him figure in the finish once more.
- Midsummer Knight
- Billy Dylan
- Feebs
