4/9
Smart flat performer who has taken really well to hurdling. Absolutely bolted up by 26L at Market Rasen (2m½f, good) last time. Carries a double penalty here but likely to be very tough to beat if in the same mood.

4/1
Winner of a maiden hurdle back in April (2m, good) and Huntingdon. Couldn't follow up next time and has since run poorly on the flat. May find it tough to keep tabs on L'Inganno Felice here.

Ceyhan49
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: David Bass| T: F Brennan
66/1
Average flat performer who was a winner as recently as December. Hurdles debut today but may find one or two of these a bit too sharp.
4

33/1
Two efforts so far over hurdles have been at big prices and has been well beaten. Needs to take a big step forward to trouble some of these and others clearly preferred.

Sean O'Casey22
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-0| J: R Johnson| T: M Appleby
11/1
Had dropped to a nice mark before winning well at Yarmouth on the flat last time. Sole hurdles run resulted in a 30L defeat at Ludlow back in January. Positive jockey booking and market check needed.

Stipulate8
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-0| J: Jonathan England| T: S England| OR:  110
20/1
Decent flat performer who's four efforts over hurdles so far haven't really amounted to much. Has the ability to go close in this contest but may be vulnerable for win purposes.
Won once in nine starts over in France on the flat (average form). Starts life for a new yard today and makes hurdling debut. Market a pretty good guide to expectations.

Forecasts

L'Inganno Felice (4/9), Movie Set (4/1), Sean O'Casey (11/1), Mr Young (14/1), Stipulate (20/1), Outback Blue (33/1), Ceyhan (66/1)

Verdict

L'INGANNO FELICE has improved with giant strides with each start over hurdles so far and has an excellent opportunity to win again under the double penalty. Sean O'Casey and Mr Young are both interesting recruits to this sphere and can chase the selection home.
  1. L'inganno Felice
  2. Sean O'Casey
  3. Mr Young
