Twice a winner at a mile in the last year the last year but they were both at a mile and when she's tried this trip in the past, she's looked a non-stayer at it. On that, others make more appeal today.

Won a couple around this time last year, and looks fairly treated on those efforts. Might have gone closer still at Pontefract last time but for finding a bit of trouble and although a drop of rain would enhance her chance, she's one to consider.

Going nowhere fast on last two efforts, beating just a couple of horses home, and despite the trip and ground being fine it's not hard to pass him over, with the yard's horses under a cloud.

Lacks gears, so might find this long run for home to his liking, and almost came good at Redcar last time, going down narrowly in a three-way fight. Might be finding his form again and a repeat takes him close off the same mark.

Beaten big double-digits last two starts and appears to be in no sort of form at present. Hard to fancy despite falling handicap mark.

Just the one win in 29 starts, first run for new yard here (formerly Patrick Holmes) and yard 3-17 last two years with others castoffs first time out. On that, worth a look in the market, as both trip and ground look fine.

Second run after a wind operation today but it seems to have had little effect if recent efforts are anything to go by. Takes a huge step up in trip (which the yard occasionally do with theirs, sometimes to good effect) but very risky.

Infrequent winner, just the 5 victories to show from 52 starts, not seen out since last October when he looked regressive. No great record fresh and hard to make much of a case for.

Beaten out of sight at huge prices all four starts to date and hard to see why that's going to be any different today. No realistic chance on what he's shown so far.

Verdict

Probably not that many to concentrate on. Diamond Runner won this last year but the yard have an equally interesting one in the shape of OPTIMA PETAMUS, who could improve on his first run for the yard here. He's no win machine but conditions are fine and a better effort wouldn't be a surprise. Inflexiball was a bit unlucky at Pontefract and could go close with a better passage here. Best Tamayuz rarely races at this trip but does stay it, and would be a danger if allowed to dominate.
