Didn't show much in three races over a mile in mid-winter but returns from a break and on pedigree would be better suited by this extra three furlongs. Yard 2-8 in the last couple of weeks.
Looked modest in first three starts in novice and maiden events but did better on handicap bow at Redcar recently over 10f, fading inside the final furlng. Steps up another furlong and runs off 1lb lower mark.
Scored twice last season for Richard Fahey over 7f. Patchy form since joined current yard but ran well penultimate start when 66/1 third of 17 at Goodwood over 1m2f. Chance if able to reproduce that effort.
Uplaced in all five starts but showed some promise when fourth at Wolverhampton in April over extended mile. Not gone on from there in two handicap runs to date although may have failed to stay 1m4f last time out.
60,000 guineas daughter of Camelot. Down the field all three starts in decent novice company. Makes handicap bow off lowly mark and may improve for the extra furlong. One to consider with yard among winners of late.
Showed little in four runs in novice company but doing better since handicapped. Fourth over 1m at Kempton in April then improved to win over 1m2f at Brighton seven weeks ago. 6lb higher now but going the right way and has solid claims.
Signs of a little ability in two novice events last term but has shown very little in four outings this campaign, including in handicaps. Hard to enthuse over and may struggle again.
Gelded after two modest efforts as a juvenile. Better this term finishing fourth in Goodwood 1m2f handicap then fifth last time over 1m4f at Salisbury. First-time visor may sharpen him up and shouldn't be far away.
Nicely bred dauighter of Camelot but looks no great shakes to date. Signs of a little ability in three novice events at around a mile and makes handicap bow off just 56 with top jockey on board. Worth a market check.
Farhh filly related to five winners, mostly over middle distances. Unplaced in three starts at two but hinted she may find a race when sixth on handicap bow at Redcar three weeks ago. Dropped 4lb so not without hope.
Little to write home about and unplaced in all five starts at up to 1m2f. Wears a hood for the first time. Pedigree all about stamina so not one to completely give up on just yet.
Third in Kempton mile novice auction last August best effort so far from seven attempts. Now 11lb lower than four starts ago but no real hint of an imminent success.
Dawn Approach colt makes handicap bow here having done little to enthuse supporters so far. May improve for step up in trip but looks to have his work cut out.
Dalakhani filly ran twice last year for John Gosden. Has looked modest and not really shone in three starts to date for current yard although got no sort of run when hampered last time. Not without hope though.
Way down the field all three starts in novice events up to 1m1f at Wolverhampton. Better on turf/handicap bow at Bath last time, staying on to finish fourth. Extra furlong should help and has place prospects on that evidence.
Gelded son of Camacho has done little to set the pulse racing in five starts so far. Wears first visor here but others are preferred given efforts so far.
Forecasts
Seinesational (11/4), Hot Off The Press (9/2), Happy Ending (6/1), Sageness (12/1), Just Right (12/1), Thresholdofadream (14/1), Dawn Of Reckoning (14/1), Powerful Society (16/1), Elapidae (16/1), Diablery (20/1), So Near So Farhh (20/1), Dawn Commando (20/1), Queen Adelaide (33/1), Red Miracle (33/1), Homing Star (40/1), The Naughty Step (50/1)
There's a good chance that many of these will be hurdling before the summer is out. THRESHOLDOFADREAM has finished down the field all three starts but in good novice company and should find this easier with the longer trip to help her cause. There are a number of contenders who are unexposed and may improve, including top weight Elapidae, Sageness, and Hot Off The Press. Brighton winner Happy Ending is respected, while Seinesational and Diablery are others to consider.
- Thresholdofadream
- Happy Ending
- Elapidae
