Yet to win on turf with all his three wins coming on the AW at this trip (much lower weighted on turf therefore). Shaped as though he needed the run when returning at Pontefract (5f, good/soft) after a 5 month break; more known after this run.
Course winner last year over further (off 3lb higher mark) he's looked as though he's needed his two runs so far this year. Best form has come over slightly further though and this bare 5f may prove a little sharp.
Has done well for this yard after leaving James Tate winning two of her three starts; scored back-to-back wins over 6f at Chelmsford. Only beat a small field each time but travels strongly but needs to the same form back on turf (only one turf run).
Going from strength-to-strength and completed a hat-trick at Hamilton very recently making all and going with great zest. Looks well-in here without a penalty if those recent exertions haven't taken their toll.
It's nearly a year since he last won but he has slipped down below that mark. Has looked to have needed his first two runs this year and looked uncomfortable on the track at Ripon last time; becoming too well-handicapped to ignore.
Just the one win as a two-year-old and now takes on her elders for the first time. Ended last season off the boil and with most of her best form coming on ground soft or worse this might all happen a bit quickly for her here.
Steadily edging his way into things this year with his last two runs giving encouragement despite the finishing positions. Far from well placed on his penultimate run and travelled well enough from a poor track position last time; hard to win with.
Made use of a career-low mark when winning at Catterick (6f, good) only to be disqualified but hasn't been able to repeat that form in two subsequent starts. Now back to a bare 5f for the second time this year still off a career-low mark.
Did best of those ridden close to the pace in a 6f Thirsk seller last time with the cheekpieces (retained) back on. Has plummeted down the weights but faces a tough task here against some in-form types.

Only Spoofing (4/7), Alsvinder (4/1), Suitcase 'n' Taxi (7/1), Mythical Spirit (12/1), Mininggold (14/1), Hadley (20/1), Extrasolar (25/1), Oriental Splendour (25/1), Market Choice (33/1), Mable Lee (40/1)
If his recent exertions haven’t taken their toll then the unpenalised ONLY SPOOFING is going to take some beating as he goes for a quick-fire four-timer going unpenalised for his easy Wednesday win at Hamilton over 5f. Mythical Spirit has also been in rude health but her consecutive wins have come on the AW and she does have to prove herself back on turf. Oriental Splendour has slipped to a mark where he starts to become interesting and Hadley who is rather hard to win with may be involved for the places based on his last two runs.
- Only Spoofing
- Mythical Spirit
- Oriental Splendour
