Third foal by Acclamation out of the 7f winner Vastitas. Cost £85,000 as a yearling and showed nice pace over 6f on debut. Stable's runners tend to improve for the run and just sets the standard.

Only cost €1,000 as a yearling, doesn't appeal on paper as a likely debut winner and will most likely need further in time. Stable quiet at present and best watched unless significant market support.

Sixth foal by Red Jazz out of the maiden Ishimagic and cost €28,000 as a yearling. Slowly away and very green on debut and while entitled to improve may need more time.

Speed in pedigree and price rose from 5,000 gns as a foal to £22,000 as a yearling. Stable in good form although runners tend to improve for their debut. Worth a check in the betting.

Hasn't really progressed from her first two runs in as many starts since and while representing a stable (won this two years ago) who continue to fire in the juvenile winners, she is vulnerable to more progressive types.

Third foal by Monsieur Bond out of the 5f-6f winner Caranbola. Has shown little in two starts so far including here on debut. Handicapped after this.

By Captain Gerrard out of a dam who was placed as a juvenile so bred to be forward and speedy. Stable not in best of form and runners tend to improve for the experience.

A 40,000 gns foal by Pivotal filly who showed up well for a long way on debut and shaped as though she'd improve for the run. Could be in contention.

Daughter of Gregorian cost connections £15,000 at the sales last August. Doesn't catch the eye on debut for a stable struggling for winners. Trainer also runs Little Legs.

Kodiac filly, cost 60,000 gns as a yearling and showed some progress first to second start while again racing too keenly in another slowly run affair. Stable are in top form and while she has shaped as though she may needs further this could suit.

Forecasts

Alfie Solomons (6/4), Red Hut Red (5/2), Hard Forest (7/2), On Route (6/1), Lorton (10/1), Jazz Hands (16/1), The Grey Zebedee (25/1), Giacomo Casanova (40/1), Little Legs (66/1), Klopp (100/1), Pritty Livvy (100/1)

Verdict

Alfie Solomons would be an obvious selection after a promising debut from the front that suggested the drop to this trip will only help. However slight preference is for RED HUT RED who just hasn't had races run to suit and a faster pace here should ensure she settles better and looks open to a lot of improvement. Hard Forest should run her race again while Lorton and On Route look only likely to benefit from their debuts.
  1. Red Hut Red
  2. Alfie Solomons
  3. Lorton
