Shaped well on his first two outings on turf before landing the odds with the minimum of fuss at Kempton (6f) in early October. Returns from a winter break with a 7lb penalty, but expected to progress quickly with further racing.
Made a winning debut over C&D in June 2017, when repelling the now 88-rated Mr Top Hat by a neck (good to soft). Blew the start over a shorter trip at Chester next time and absent since. Cost €360,000 as a juvenile.
Unraced fourth foal by Foxwedge out of a speedy 6f winning dam (Orange Pip). No doubting she has plenty of pace in her family line, but a major surprise if she's the solution tonight.
Unraced fourth foal by Zebedee out of the Danish 1m winner Sweet Irish. Full brother to the fairly useful Brian The Snail (5-6f winner), so longer-term this 20,000 gns yearling could ultimately prove money well spent.
Difficult to muster too much in the way of enthusiasm for this son of Royal Applause who was tardy from the stalls when dropped back to this trip for his second start at Pontefract in late April (good to soft).
Has appeared to be very green and inexperienced on his first two starts (7f-1m) and given his habitual slow breaks from the stalls, it's a surprise to see him dropped back to 6f now.
Unraced Swiss Spirit colt who cost £50,000 as a yearling and won't be found lacking for speed hailing from a 5f winning dam (Littlemisssunshine) and being a half-brother to the 5f winners Soapy Aitken and Littlemissblakeney. Interesting.
Not disgraced over 7f at Newbury last month (good to firm), making much of the running until weakening inside the final furlong and finishing approximately 8L seventh of 19 to Mystic Flight. Drop in trip looks to be an obvious move.
Runner up on debut over this trip at Chelmsford in January, but that was in a small field affair taken by 1/8 poke Danzan. Pulled hard when disappointing next time at Wolverhampton (7f), and returns for turf debut from a three month plus break.
Dutch Art filly who cost £42,000 as a yearling, but has lacked much in the way of sparkle in two career starts (6f-7f), is held by Party Dancer on Newbury form and surely rates as one for further down the line.

Buffer Zone (5/4), Buridan (9/4), Swiss Chill (4/1), Party Dancer (12/1), Ambroise (14/1), Invisible Storm (25/1), Persian Prize (33/1), Sicario (33/1), Mrs Todd (40/1), Silver Swift (50/1), Macgregor's Pal (66/1), Bambajee (66/1)
Richard Hannon saddles a couple of runners with returning debut C&D scorer Buridan almost certainly the stable number one, but he faces a progressive looking rival in the shape of the Roger Charlton trained BUFFER ZONE. His best days look to be forthcoming, and he rates as a confident pick despite having a 7lb penalty to carry for his autumn AW success at Kempton. Others to keep a close eye upon for the future include Swiss Chilli and Party Dancer.
