Off time: 19:12 | Winning time: 1m 16.19s

(10)

Brelades Bay³¹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: K Shoemark| T: M L W Bell

5/2

Footstepsinthesand filly who cost £20,000 as a yearling and shaped as though this extra furlong would suit on debut. Likely to improve for that experience.

Form: 5

(3)

Ghost Queen

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: James Doyle| T: S & E Crisford

7/2

Cost 20,000 gns as a yearling and representing a stable in form and adept at placing their runners. Enough speed in pedigree to feature on debut and worth a check in the betting.

Form:

(2)

Impulsion

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: David Egan⁽³⁾| T: R Varian

9/2

Daughter of Footstepsinthesand with plenty of speed in pedigree and bred to be precocious. Represents a leading stable and market support would be significant.

Form:

(6)

Popping Corks¹⁰

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Tom Marquand| T: R Hannon

4/1

Has run to a similar level of form in both starts to date without improving from first to second start. Shown enough to be competitive but may do better once going handicapping.

Form: 66

(9)

Rita's Folly

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: William Carson| T: A Carson

11/1

Half-sister to sprint winners Curious Fox and Dorkhel and stable have had a couple of winners recently. Worth a check in the market.

Form:

(5)

Roca Magica

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Edward Greatrex| T: E A L Dunlop

16/1

Bred to be better over further in due course and stable's runners tend to improve for their debut.

Form:

(7)

Second Collection

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: F Norton| T: A W Carroll

25/1

Daughter of Delegator on debut for a stable struggling for winners. Doesn't look a likely type on debut and best watched.

Form:

(11)

Sister's Act

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: S Hitchcott| T: P Hedger

14/1

Cost just £6,000 as a yearling and doesn't appeal on debut. Best watched unless significant market support.

Form:

(8)

Sohni Kudi

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: J F Egan| T: M J Attwater

66/1

Stable not noted for two-year-old winners and tend to do better with older horses. Hard to recommend on debut.

Form:

Non-Runners

(4)

Arishka³⁹

Weight: 9-0| Age: 2

T: D & C Kubler J: Fran Berry

(1)

Superstition

Weight: 9-0| Age: 2

T: G & J Moore J: T P Queally

Forecasts

Brelades Bay (5/2), Ghost Queen (7/2), Popping Corks (4/1), Impulsion (9/2), Rita's Folly (11/1), Superstition (12/1), Sister's Act (14/1), Arishka (14/1), Roca Magica (16/1), Second Collection (25/1), Sohni Kudi (66/1)

Impulsion really catches the eye on breeding and for a powerful stable could well be smart on debut. Like Ghost Queen who represents an in form stable the market will be the best guide. Brelades Bay should only improve for her racecourse debut while ARISHKA will also have learnt plenty from her first start and showed a turn of foot that could be difference in winning races.
