Very speedy sort who showed lots of pace to win over C&D on his penultimate start only winning narrowly but impressing nonetheless. Almost followed up that win in similar fashion at Ripon (did too much); still well handicapped on past form.
Took advantage of big drop below his last winning mark when winning on the AW earlier in the year over 5f. Returned to turf last time at he finished 4th (King Crimson; 2nd) and shaped better than his final placing having not been well placed.
Her three wins last year came on the AW and on quick turf running well here on a couple of occasions. She ended the year on a downbeat note here but the ground would have been too soft; has run respectably off long breaks before, place chances.
Recorded three wins here last year with both of his C&D wins coming with cut in the ground. His other course win did come on quick ground though but might not have improved as much as those wins suggested and yet to fire this year.
Form over C&D reads 1247 with her best run coming when winning on quick ground. Both runs this year back from a break can be excused and may yet be able to produce more off a mark that isn't too taxing with a good claimer on board.
Has won a race in her last three years and is a fair handicapper. Ran far too free on his comeback run (refused to settle) over C&D but even with that under his belt a little more is needed to get involved here.

Forecasts
King Crimson (5/6), Jaganory (4/1), Big Lachie (5/1), Dandilion (10/1), Dreamboat Annie (10/1), Prominna (16/1), Aquadabra (16/1), Pranceabootthetoon (16/1)
If conditions stay as they are and are on the quick side the KING CRIMSON is going to take some catching here as he loves this ground and has loads of early pace it will just be a question as to whether he can hold on; he’s still well handicapped. Big Lachie was behind the selection last time when shaping better than his final position and he looks a danger if he can keep in touch. Dandilion can be considered for the places although she might just need this with Dreamboat Annie capable off this mark with her two runs this year excused.
- King Crimson
- Big Lachie
- Dandilion
