Well held on both recent turf starts and has dropped a total of 7lb for that. On his All Weather form, that would look like handy mark, but on what he has achieved on turf, he might still find one or two too good.
Ended a lengthy losing tun when scoring at Bath (5½f, good) last month under Silvestre De Sousa. WWas put up 7lb to this mark for that success and held when upped in grade last time. Champion now looks elsewhere. Up against it.
Won this race last year when 1lb higher and followed up from 4lb higher than today at Doncaster (good to firm). Six-time winner at the track has to be taken very seriously now back on this mark.
Goes well on Newcastle's Tapeta and also on good/good to soft ground on turf. Best over 5f, but has won over this trip. Up against it from this mark, even if coming on a bit for her reappearance.
Good/good to firm ground suits this gelding who is 5lb lower than when he last won, though that was 13 starts ago. Was competitive from this rating at Newmarket two starts ago. so not ruled out, but needs more to be winning again.
When when fresh for the second season in succession when landing a similar contest over C&D (good to soft) last month. Well beaten in a better race at York last time after a 4lb rise and now has it to prove from the same mark.
Enjoys herself when able to lead as she did when making all to score over C&D (good to firm) recently. Has a fair bit in hand there and although a 6lb rise will ask further questions, she is improving and may have the answers.
Saves his best for Newmarket's July Course, where has secured both his handicap wins. Still 4lb higher than the latest of those in August and looks up against it based on his three runs so far this term.
Better on the All Weather and is just 1-22 on turf, albeit that was on fast ground over this trip at Hamilton. Still 5lb higher today, however, and others make more appeal.

Forecasts
Sandra's Secret (2/1), Pipers Note (7/2), Gin In The Inn (13/2), Captain Colby (7/1), Henley (7/1), Dougan (9/1), Tomily (10/1), Mont Kiara (14/1), Intense Romance (20/1), Zylan (50/1)
Not a particularly deep contest on the face of it and PIPERS NOTE, who loves it here and won this race last year, can repeat the dose from 1lb lower. Captain Colby could pose a threat if bringing his 'A' game, while Sandra's Secret looks likely to be a danger and Gin In The Inn is not ruled out.
