Well beaten in two starts to date and best watched despite drop in class.

Reproduction of her debut would make her very hard to beat at this level but disappointed last twice. Was drawn badly here two starts back and stumbled last time so could bounce back but poor draw again.

Unfancied and tailed off on debut and quickly dropped in class. Hard to make a case for.

Improved from debut when better dropped to a seller at big odds. More required again on these terms.

50/1
Second foal by Kyllachy out of a very modest twice-raced dam (Hot Reply) who was well beaten in a seller on debut.
Cheaply bought (£4,500) son of Arcano who has shown a similar level of form in both starts to date and possibilities now down in grade.

Sixties Icon filly who has shaped as though she will need further in due course but has shown enough in both starts to be competitive down in this grade.

Henrythenavigator filly who cost just 1,000 gns as a foal and showed little in a seller on debut.

Switch to front running tactics brought improvement when down to a seller on her second start. Should make a bold bid from the front once again.

Kyroc16

9/2
Improved efforts last twice when showing plenty of pace from the front and now dropped in grade. Put in on very favourable terms and looks the one to beat.

Forecasts

Red Handed (11/4), Go Annie Go (10/3), Kyroc (9/2), One One Seven (5/1), Lady Lavinia (9/1), Piccothepack (9/1), Kalissi (14/1), Bottleared (50/1), Lexikon (50/1), Screen Queen (50/1)

Verdict

Piccothepack represents last year's winning stable and should be right in the mix if able to return to the promise of her debut. Go Annie Go has pace and can be competitive again but preference is for fellow front runner KYROC who also has plenty of speed and has been given a real opportunity down in grade on a very favourable claiming price.
  1. Kyroc
  2. Go Annie Go
  3. Piccothepack
