A winner of a maiden at Dundalk on her second start and backed that up with a respectable effort in a Group 3 at Leopardstown last time. However, she has plenty more on her plate here and needs significant improvement to figure.

A winner of her first two starts and ran a fine race in defeat when runner-up in a Royal Ascot Group 3. Not in the same form in two starts since but should come on for her recent reappearance and yard are in good form.

Impressive winner on debut and not disgraced when fourth in Group 3 company at Leopardstown on her second start behind the re-opposing Who's Steph. Has work on to reverse the form with that rival but open to improvement and capable of going well.

Has won each of her last three starts, most recently in the Cheveley Park at Newmarket (Group 1). Plenty to like about the way she won that day and yard won this last year. However, Moore prefers Happily.

Maiden winner at Dundalk on fourth start in good style and not disgraced in the French renewal of this race earlier in the month. Sure to appreciate the better ground here and a step forward likely.

A winner of four of her eight starts including two Group 1 wins. Third in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket last time out and there's a chance she can improve for that run here. The pick of Moore is another significant factor and she's the one to beat.

Won a maiden at Leopardstown in September and returned with a win at Naas last time in a Group 3. Runner-up didn't do much for the form when well beaten in a Group 2 here on Saturday though and others preferred.

Improved from debut to win at Cork next time out but she would need a significant step up on that form to play a part here and she's down the order on jockey bookings.

Should improve from a nice debut at Naas when a staying on third of 14 in a maiden. Possibly biting off more than she can chew here though on just her second start in what looks like a stellar renewal.

Fifth behind Happily in a maiden on debut but well beaten last time and quite possibly out of her depth here. Gets first-time blinkers.

Won the trial for this race at Leopardstown, making it three wins from four starts. Did that well and possible there's more to come for this yard in flying form but this is a much tougher race than what she's faced to date.

Good second behind Who's Steph two starts back but she's more exposed than most of her rivals and has plenty to find on form.

Forecasts

Happily (5/4), Soliloquy (5/1), Who's Steph (6/1), Clemmie (13/2), Alpha Centauri (12/1), Chiara Luna (14/1), Lightening Quick (25/1), Alghabrah (25/1), Most Gifted (28/1), Could It Be Love (33/1), Yulong Gold Fairy (66/1), Scriobh Nua (66/1), Uluru Park (125/1)

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien enjoyed a fine day here on Saturday with a four-timer and he appears to hold the key to this year's renewal of the Irish 1,000 Guineas. HAPPILY is the narrow preference after a good effort in the English 1,000 Guineas last time out and with the possibilty she could strip fitter for that run, she's taken to get the better of stablemates Clemmie and Could It Be Love. The latter is a fascinating contender and the forecast better ground should see her improve on a respectable effort in the French version of this race at Longchamp last time.
  1. Happily
  2. Could It Be Love
  3. Clemmie
