Listed winner at Leopardstown in 2015 but only won once since, a success at Gowran last June. Ran okay in a Group 3 last time but handicapper won't relent and he looks vulnerable off top weight here.
Arrives bidding for a hat-trick after back-to-back wins at Cork already this season. However, handicapper has taken the form of his most recent wide margin success in heavy ground literally and he looks vulnerable from a 13lb higher mark here.
A winner when last seen on the Flat when winning at Cork and only 1lb higher here. Not out of this but would probably prefer softer conditions.
Gained a second career win at Listowel in June. Shaped like he would come on for his reappearance here last time out on debut for his new yard so not ruled out.
Has won five times in his career but he's only won once in 17 starts on turf. Ran well here last time out and while he gets quicker ground this time around, he's not without a place chance.
Recorded a belated hat-trick when winning at Dundalk last year but not won since and has a tendency to miss the break. Clearly not the easiest to train but she's on a workable mark if she can bounce back here.
Won two of her first three starts but she's been largely disappointing since and may need more relief from the handicapper.
Unproven off a mark this high but has been running well on the whole recently despite slightly disappointing at Leopardstown last time out. Others look better treated but he still can't be discounted.
All four of his turf wins have come around here, including two wins over C&D. Has run well in defeat off higher marks than this so has to be of interest if ready to go.
Latest win came at Cork in June, winning for the first time since 2015. On a workable mark and fit from a recent spin over hurdles.
Very consistent sort but really struggling to get his head in front and he's not won since 2015. Place claims again after a good run at Naas last time and bound to get his head in front at some stage off this sort of mark.
Yet to win in six turf starts and still above his last winning mark. Others make more appeal after a below par effort at Leopardstown last time.
Very disappointing favourite when well beaten at Navan last time but handicapper has given her a real chance off this reduced mark and has been given a break since. Respected on her return.
Defied a penalty for Tipperary win to score over this C&D in July (good). Final outing at Roscommon was tame on soft. Handicapped to have a say and she will appreciate the better ground here.
Has developed an off-putting habit of missing the break on recent starts and hard to fancy until he shows signs he's left that trait behind.
A winner at Dundalk when last seen but handicapper hasn't taken any chance with her and she's opposable from her revised mark back on turf.
Kicked off last season in rude health, but has risen by 11lb in the handicap since scoring at Limerick in April 2017. Well beaten on seasonal debut but yard going well and not ruled out.
Forecasts
Allegio (6/1), Wooster (13/2), Espoir D'Soleil (7/1), Claregate Street (7/1), Tirmizi (9/1), Breathe Easy (10/1), Spruce Meadows (10/1), Aussie Valentine (12/1), Roconga (12/1), Aared (14/1), Admodum (16/1), Moonmeister (20/1), Tennessee Wildcat (20/1), Another Story (20/1), Hamley (25/1), Bumbasina (33/1), Hyperdrive (40/1)
BREATHE EASY is an interesting runner given his course form and he ought to run well off his workable handicap mark. Aussie Valentine usually runs his race and is slowly slipping down the handicap while Hamley is a course and distance winner who should appreciate a return to quicker ground.
- Breathe Easy
- Aussie Valentine
- Hamley
