Dark Angel colt, cost €80,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to a sprint winner and dam a half-sister to a Group 2 winner over 5f and a Listed winner over 5f. Possibly second string on jockey bookings but well bred and not dismissed here.

Dandy Man colt, cost €38,000 as a foal and £100,000 as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to two winners. Yard flying at present with strike-rate exceeding 30% and they're capable of readying one for debut.
Excelebration colt, cost €15,000 as a foal. Half-brother to three winners including two as a juvenile. Dam a half-sister to a Listed winner over 1m2f. Makes some appeal on pedigree but others preferred.
Declaration Of War colt, cost $62,000 as a yearling. Dam a winning sprinter and half-sister to another winner. Pedigree suggests he may do better over further.
Invincible Spirit colt cost €155,000 as a yearling and closely related to 5f/6f winner May Rose. Yard in good form and plenty to like on paper.
Vocalised colt, full-brother to juvenile winner over 7f and two more winners including a Listed winner as a juvenile over 1m1f. Bred for further than this test.
War Front colt, dam a half-sister to a Listed winner as a juvenile over 7f. Ran well on debut at Cork and yard's runners usually take a step forward from debut but Moore prefers Cardini.
No Nay Never colt. Dam was a once raced maiden that has produced several winners. Ran okay at Naas on debut but may do better over further than this.
Dragon Pulse gelding, cost 20,000 gns as a foal and €30,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to two winners and dam a half-sister to an Irish Oaks winner. Bred for further than this and not a good a sign he's already been gelded.
Siyouni colt, half-brother to two stayers. Dam a winner over 1m1f. Looks in need of further than this and debut at Dundalk over this trip suggested as much earlier in the month.

Aidan O'Brien has won this race four times since it's inception in 2011 and Cardini would appear to be his first string this time around with Ryan Moore in the saddle. However, with the Ger Lyons team in such good form, ERICH BLOCH is narrowly preferred. Dom Carlos should benefit from his debut last time out and may prove best of the rest.
