Group 2 winner as a three-year-old, and though he clearly isn't at that level anymore he is starting to look very favourably treated off his current mark.
Only two wins in Britain came back-to-back at Ascot in 2014, but ran well in defeat a few times last season and should be in the fight for the places once again.
Drew a blank last year but didn't finish far behind some good horses and should be able to win races this campaign. This mark looks fine but some give in the ground would probably be preferable.
Didn't seem to stay 2m at Ripon last time out, and so this drop back in trip is certainly a positive. On a career-high mark but still has the potential to improve.
Lacks the consistency which was a key part of his early career, but has a chance here on the form of his second placed finish at Wolverhampton two starts back off a 2lb lower mark.
Good enough for this level off this mark at his best, but really needs good to firm ground when racing on turf. Hood applied having raced keenly over a furlong shorter at Newmarket last time out.
Draw may have been his undoing at Chester last time out, and better can be expected here if he can reach the level he was performing at during the end of last season.
This trip suits him well, though he's' on a long enough losing streak by now and he's certainly not one to rely on.
Stamina not proven over this trip but has won here over shorter and should appreciate the ground here. Not ruled out.
Better than he showed over C&D last time out, though a couple of runs towards the end of last season suggested he may be developing into more of a stayer now.
Only narrow defeated at Nottingham last time out and has been raised 4lb, though that seems fair as the front two were clear. Better ground here shouldn't be an issue and he should go well.

A number of these have slight questions to answer, but THISTIMENEXTYEAR impressed at Nottingham last time out and was unlucky to be beaten just a nose. Though up 4lb, that seems fair given the front two were clear of the rest and with better ground here unlikely to be an issue for him, he can go one better. Others of interest include Zack Mayo now he's dropping back in trip and former Group 2 winner Across The Stars.
