Al Kazeem colt, dam a half-sister to high-class Group 2 winner Somehow. Mightily impressive debut winner and more to come up in trip here.

Finally got his head in front in maiden last time on heavy ground but others bring a higher level of form in to this and likely to struggle despite the yard's current form.

Confirmed the promise of a placed effort on debut when winning at Leicester in October. Only second when favourite upped in class on return but more improvement likely and shaped like he needed the run.

Improved from Kempton debut to record a facile success back at that course next time. Far from disgraced on return in Listed class at Newmarket and form of that race franked since. Sets the standard on form.

Won two of his five starts last year but well beaten back at Newmarket on his return. Has plenty on to reverse the form with Highbrow from that run.

Arrives in a hat-trick bid after gaining back-to-back wins at Chelmsford last time. More improvement expected now stepped up to this trip and yard won this last year.

Won his first two starts before a disappointing run at Chester last time when drawn wide and given no real chance. May do better here and still unexposed.

Forecasts

Highbrow (9/4), Bombyx (5/2), Aspetar (7/2), Main Street (6/1), Lynwood Gold (16/1), Perfect Illusion (20/1), Billy Ray (28/1)

Verdict

There was a lot to like about the way Aspetar won on debut but narrow preference is for HIGHBROW who sets the standard on form after his placed effort in Listed class last time. Main Street represents a yard with a good record in this race and the son of Street Cry can't be ruled out if the ground doesn't inconvenience him.
  1. Highbrow
  2. Aspetar
  3. Main Street
