Only success came in a four-runner AW maiden over 1m2f at Lingfield in 2016. Has run to a consistent level in the face of some stiff tasks since. A further drop in the weights makes his case stronger now returned from winter sabbatical.
Broke his maiden with victory over 7f at Lingfield in December. Has run promising races in three of four starts since but hasn't fared well in two previous runs here over 7f.
Has a decent career record on the AW (8-60) and was just touched off over extended-mile last time out at Wolverhampton. 2lb higher now but is a three-time C&D scorer in the past.
Won over C&D in October (rated 61) though well held in two December visits here off this mark. Off since and is capable of a big run fresh, requires some monitoring in the betting.
Lingfield winner in April over 7f, taking advantage of a sliding mark, formerly quite capable but this sort of rating tends to prove beyond him now, and that proved the case most recently at Kempton over 7f.
C&D winner last month, well held at Brighton on latest start, returns here in higher grade and 3lb above previous winning mark. Likely needs a career-best effort.
Wolverhampton winner last month over an extended-mile, 8lb higher now and has struggled in both runs since.
Fair in handicaps but she's not won since 2016 and looks to be just ticking over at the moment. Handicap mark is sliding right down as a result.
Busy sort that enjoys his racing, has already hit the board four times in 2018, most recently over 1m1f (good to firm) at Musselburgh this month. Capable of throwing in the towel on occasion, as seen last week at Wolverhampton. Could bounce back.
Forecasts
King of Dreams (11/4), Pass The Cristal (10/3), Muhajjal (7/2), Foie Gras (6/1), Spiritual Star (10/1), Ravenhoe (14/1), Andalusite (14/1), Hawatif (22/1), Clement (33/1)
KING OF DREAMS get a tentative nod on his reappearance for David Simcock in a race where plenty have their questions to answer. He failed to hit the board last year but is dropping down the weights and is aided here by a 7lb claim on his return. He didn't run badly on his final start last year and this is a decent opportunity if he's ready to roll. Foie Gras was only just denied at Wolverhampton recently and should go well while Pass The Cristal and Ravenhoe are capable of challenging.
