Carries a penalty for his Leicester victory in October (7f gd/sft) but rates as an appealing sort on pedigree (€140,000 yearling). Drawn widest of all in stall 20.
Raced keenly on debut at Kempton (7f), but that didn't stop him making a splash winning decisively by 2¾L from Perfect Hustler. Hood applied today, presumably in order to help him settle.
Failed to beat a single rival in two starts last back-end (6f to 7f), so nigh impossible to recommend as a result.
By Dutch Art out of a Galileo mare, this colt was too green to do himself justice on debut at Lingfield last month (7f), and looks likely to improve with more racecourse experience; perhaps over a longer trip.
Kept on without threatening his well-touted stablemate Willie John on debut at Yarmouth in October (7f), so slightly disappointing that he didn't finish closer over 1m here on his reappearance. Not one to write off just yet now sporting blinkers.

Cost 65,000 gns as a yearling, and this son of Lawman offered some encouragement for the future on debut at Doncaster last month (7f soft) when finishing eighth of 11 to Ornamental. Tackles much quicker ground today.
Trailed home last of 14 over 1m here last month in a race won by Adjutant, and is quickly dropped back in trip for his second career start.
Unraced second foal by Medicean out of the 6f-7f winner Moretta Blanche. Worth a glance in the market, but others more likely winners.

Unraced Holy Roman Emperor filly who cost €10,000 as a foal, but doesn't rate as the likeliest of types being a half-sister to point-to-point winner Extreme Appeal.
Met trouble in the run on debut at Kempton in October (6f), so safe to draw a line through that effort. Cost £42,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to the 6f Group 3 winner Habaayib, so should be okay.

A sizeable turnout, but only a couple of obvious looking contenders. Humbolt Current failed to build upon a most promising debut when upped to 1m here last month, but is worth another chance down in trip with the blinkers newly applied, whilst the Leicester winner Accessor is the standout pick of the Hannon duo. Newcomers or lightly raced horses to note for the future include Silver Swift, Roodeparis and Blizzard, but it's impossible not to be drawn to the John Gosden trained Kempton scorer NORDIC PASSAGE. He did plenty wrong there (keen) and that's most likely why the hood is introduced today, but his abundant talent shone through in spades.
