Got stuck in the mud at Salisbury on his seasonal return so hard to know what to glean from that. Should be fitter now and this surface should help the cause so on balance of last term's form is not without a chance.

Cost a massive €1,050,000 as a yearling, this daughter of Galileo has well and truly failed to live up to expectations. It's all about winning a race with her for paddock value so should be there or thereabouts.

22 months since last win which came when trained by Karl Burke. Ran some fair race last term without getting his head in front and usually goes well returning from a break so has place prospects at least on debut for new yard.

Seems better at Lingfield than anywhere else and both wins have come at the Surrey track. Bit disappointing on seasonal return recently but a better dispaly not ruled out.

16-race maiden but ran three decent races when placed on AW this winter. Shorter trip didn't help last time and 2lb drop should help back over the correct trip.

This trip probably a bare minimum having stayed on dourly to lead last stride over 1m6f at Chelmsford penultimate start. Only just beaten at Southwell on Fibresand latest and clearly in good heart at present.

Won two races on the Flat and two more over hurdles but nothing since October 2016 and loks unlikely to capitalise on falling handicap rating.

Three wins at Lingfield over this trip since the turn of the year but hasn't appeared as effective elsewhere. Inexperienced apprentice claims a useful 7lb but hasn't run well at this track for quite some time.

Been in great form since October winning five times including over this C&D last time out. Handicapper has had his say and up another 4lb but sure to be in the thick of it once again.

Struggled last term in five outings and dropped down the weights but not seen for 10 months and fitness has to be taken on trust. Worth a check for any market move though.

Has failed to beat a horse home in each of his last three starts and has dropped a total of 16lb in that period, Very hard to enthuse over and looks out of sorts at present.

Tremendous old boy has won 18-141 starts and still appears to retain plenty of enthusiasm for the game. Best at Southwell, but won over this C&D four years ago and with champion jockey on board again is not without hope.

Forecasts

Raashdy (9/4), Gravity Wave (6/1), Ice Canyon (7/1), Clovelly Bay (9/1), Earthly (9/1), Song Of Love (10/1), Azzir (14/1), Attain (16/1), Saniyaat (20/1), The Lock Master (20/1), Enmeshing (25/1), Fool To Cry (33/1)

Verdict

The million euro filly SANIYAAT is given one more chance to get off the mark with a top apprentice on board claiming a valuable 5lbs. It wouldn't surprise to see Azzir go well on his first start for a new yard, and top weight Clovelly Bay could also get involved. Song of Love stays and will be keeping on, while it would be unwise to rule out another big effort from the in-form Raashdy despite another hike in the weights.

  3. Azzir
