Finished 14th of 15 tailed off on her only start over this trip on debut at Navan in April 2017. Winner over 6f and may not appreciate this drop in trip.

No extra under pressure when looking one paced before dropping away to finish fifth of 11 on his last start over this trip in a Tipperary maiden in September. Shapes like he would appreciate further than this 5f trip.

First time tongue-tie unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement to play a role following three modest career starts so date.

Well beaten in all three maiden starts before a promising run on handicap debut at Navan and further improvement made in a Cork handicap earlier this month over an extended 6f. More needed.

Yet to have a starting price lower than 50/1 in three starts between 5f and 6f. First race since being gelded and unlikely to trouble the judge here.

Well held and never nearer in three career starts all on the AW at Dundalk before the end of the year. Will possibly need the run on return here.

Beaten on three occasions at Dundalk on the AW but there were hints of promise on turf earlier this month finishing second of 14 in a Cork handicap over an extended 6f beaten ½L. One for the shortlist in this company.

Dream Ahead filly who didn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary in a couple of 6f spins as a juvenile and has been well beaten in a couple of dismal displays last month. Looks a tall order on form shown.

Failed to beat a runner home in her first four career starts and has been beaten on two further occasions since. Hard to see him making any significant progress here.

Improved for the drop in trip earlier this month when putting some stale displays behind him finishing 2½L behind Footstepsintime at Cork over an extended 6f handicap.

Eased when beaten earlier this month eventually finishing 18L behind Tammy Wynette at Dundalk on the AW over 5f. Unreliable and may need more time.

Dwelt when towards rear early on eventually finishing last of 10 beaten 7L on handicap debut at Dundalk on the AW before a 13L defeat at at Cork over an extended 6f earlier this month. Hard to construct much of a case for her here.

Forecasts

Tuamhain (3/1), Iceni (9/2), Eadbhard (9/2), Premier League (11/2), Summerseat Dream (9/1), Bellick (9/1), Piper Bomb (14/1), Colonel Paddy (16/1), Camacho Dancer (20/1), Sarah Kate (25/1), Miss Punctuality (33/1), Cats Approval (33/1)

Verdict

Premier League likes to get on with it from the front and could easily lead from stall five in the early stages of the contest. The initial clip will possibly set the race up for a compelling finish between second last time out Eadbhard, Cork beaten favourite earlier in the month Tuamhain and the Henry De Bromhead-trained ICENI who looks an interesting sprinting recruit.
  1. Iceni
  2. Eadbhard
