Made a winning Newbury debut over 7f when the stable were in flying form finding plenty for pressure to win going away. Very much open to improvement over this longer trip although the Newbury form has yet to be franked.
Despite her 25/1 SP she won easily on her debut at Newbury (7f, good) as a juvenile. Disappointed in Listed grade on her only subsequent outing (made favourite) but deserves another chance especially on her breeding.
Interesting newcomer who cost 320,000 guineas as a yearling and has winners in her pedigree. Yard have hit form in the last fortnight and she should be noted in the market.
After a break of seven months she showed some progress from her debut but still looked as though she was in need of experience. Will come on again for that encounter; others preferred.
Second foal; dam a US 1m winner who was a half-sister to a Grade 3 winner in that country. Yard's runners usually come on for the run.
Well-fancied in the market on his debut she produced what was deemed a promising effort running on late. She now switches to turf but is open to progress on this second run.
Yard are yet to get started this year and generally bring their newcomers on steadily. She's a half-sister to several winners and likely to do better in the future with this under her belt.
One of two runners in this for the trainer (in good form) and this daughter of Camelot is hooded for her debut. Half-sister to a couple of winners and look the stable first-string on jockey bookings.
Both her runs have contained promise and she looks the sort to carrying on steadily improving. Needs this run for a mark and it may be that handicaps see her in a better light.
Shaped well on her only run as a juvenile (yard going well at the time) and now returns for her first run as a three-year-old. Given how well found she was in the market on her debut she looks likely to have further progress in her.
Proved to be a very different proposition oh her second run stepping up markedly from her modest (at best) debut. Will need to improve again but heading in the right direction.
Very green on her debut she still showed that here was plenty to work on but may need this experience also as she tries turf for the first time.
Half-sister to several winners with the dam unraced. Stable have made a good start to the season and should be respected with this sort as they are always capable of first-time out winners.
Pedigree makes some appeal being a Mount Nelson filly who is related to the useful Not Never. Stable not usually associated with first time winners though.
First foal by Duke Of Marmalade for a yard who are more than capable of producing a first-time out winner. There are some better pedigrees in the race though and on balance others make more appeal.
Half-sister to several winners who looks to be the second string of the stable who remain in form. Worth noting in the market in relation to her stablemate.
Made a very promising debut at the end of last season at Newmarket over 7f when taking the runner-up slot (held back by inexperience). Should know more this time around and will be suited by 1m plus this year.
Forecasts
Adorable (11/4), Magnolia Springs (11/4), Fraiha (6/1), Ganayem (7/1), Worth Waiting (10/1), Life On Earth (18/1), Bedwyyah (20/1), Dieulefit (25/1), Floria Tosca (25/1), Tobruk (25/1), Fresh Terms (33/1), Katleen (33/1), Jenoow (33/1), Chanson de La Mer (50/1), Now Then (66/1), Cuillin (66/1), Mistress Nellie (100/1)
Nearly half the field are making their debuts here and that makes life rather difficult in betting terms. It may pay to stay with those which have had some experience and MAGNOLIA SPRINGS made a very impressive debut last year before running below-par up in class. Her pedigree suggests that she will make a better three-year-old and she gets the nod over Adorable who was a decisive scorer on her Newbury debut. Worth Waiting is another who impressed on her debut last year but she may need this run. The market will probably have a say in sorting out the newcomers with the likes of Fraiha, Life On Earth and Floria Tosca all worth watching for support in the ring.
- Magnolia Springs
- Adorable
