Dual point-to-point runner-up but two runs over hurdles since starting off under rules have left plenty to be desired and she's best watched here.
Appears to have had her issues with only four runs over hurdles since her debut in this sphere over two years ago, but went close at Taunton last time and holds major claims if building on that.
All but pulled up in a bumper at Towcester last time out on ruled debut, and point-to-point form was nothing special either. Others appeal much more.
Only moderate form in two bumpers and a novice hurdle so far. Yard finally starting to come into form, but that's unlikely to be enough for her to take the step forward she needs to.
Went off fancied for first bumper in November but hasn't been able to develop on that promise, including now racing over hurdles. Second run after wind surgery here but much more needed.
Did manage to outrun her 150/1 price on hurdling debut at Huntingdon last time out, but further improvement needed if she is to challenge the leading contenders in this.
Point-to-point winner and should be capable of better than she's shown under rules at some point. That may come over fences, but this ground should also see her to better effect.
This looks much easier than the only previous novice hurdle she's contested, but she mostly showed only patchy form on the Flat.

Blackdown Hills (7/4), Maggies Legend (15/8), Malindi Bay (5/1), Jennifer Juniper (13/2), Hurlstone Point (7/1), Ruby Fool (14/1), Agent Memphis (14/1), Katebird (20/1), Cup Of Gold (40/1)
On the basis of his second at Taunton last time, BLACKDOWN HILLS should be able to build on that and get off the mark in this contest. That was a fine effort and on ground that clearly suits, there is no reason why the step back up in trip should be an issue and it may actually be a benefit to his chances. Not many of the others have shown too much, but Malindi Bay and Ruby Fool are others who could progress to play a part.
