Haafhd filly who has failed to impress in a couple of AW starts (6f-7f) which were spread over 13 months apart. Blinkers back on for turf debut.
£45,000 Havana Gold filly whose speedy dam is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Masta Plasta. Raced only on the Westwood at Beverley so far, but was a winner there in August 2017 (5f good), beating Debawtry by 1¼L
Orpen filly who cost €190,000 as a Breeze-Up purchase. Shaped with promise on debut at York in September 2017 despite proving difficult to load, and took advantage of a golden opportunity next time at Chelmsford (6f), winning at odds of 1/5f.
Beat stablemate Grise Lightning comprehensively when taking a Hamilton maiden in August 2017 (6f good to soft), and given the winter off to strengthen since. A fraction more improvement is required against these rivals.
Invincible Spirit filly who cost 300,000 gns as a yearling. Not sharp enough to win as a juvenile (6f to 7f) but should be capable of better this term, so lines up here without a penalty unlike plenty of her chief rivals.
€120,000 yearling by Reckless Abandon, who proved consistent as a juvenile but without winning. Beaten just a nose by Timpani at Newmarket in late October (7f good to firm), so won't need to find much improvement for the fitting of cheek-pieces.
Well beaten on both starts as a juvenile (6f) and despite showing speed on Tapeta at Newcastle, she appears well out of her depth here on her seasonal reappearance.

Forecasts
Pretty Baby (11/10), Angel's Glory (11/4), Left Alone (9/2), Gold Stone (15/2), Foxtrix (20/1), Queen Penn (22/1), Xin Chao (33/1), The Hoppings (200/1), Thunderbell (200/1)
Quite possibly an above average contest for the track with a number of top trainers represented. Gold Stone (Kevin Ryan), Pretty Baby (William Haggas) and Queen Penn (Richard Fahey) are all penalised for their respective juvenile victories. Pretty Baby appeals the most of that trio, and it'll be interesting to see what she can produce on turf. However both Angel's Glory (Roger Varian) and LEFT ALONE (Hugo Palmer) receive a handy 7lbs, with the latter named filly somewhat unfortunate to remain a maiden. She should cope with the drop in trip and the application of first time cheek-pieces can't be viewed as anything other than a positive move from her trainer.
