Never involved on debut at Ripon on Saturday (5f good to soft), finishing a well beaten eighth of nine to Kinks. Blinkers applied and dropped into a seller following a quick turnaround.
With Willie McCreery in Ireland when finishing 9L third to Offline at Dundalk early last month (5f). Switched to turf at a lowly level for stable debut.
Unraced Henrythenavigator filly who cost just 1,000 gns as a foal. Her dam Bouyrin was a 6f AW winner. Debuts at a realistic level.
Es Que Love filly who appeared to get the message late on debut at Wolverhampton last month (5f) when finishing seventh of ten to Daphinia. Eased in grade for turf debut.
Showed early speed on debut at Beverley last week (5f good), before weakening from halfway. Stable not firing as of yet, and this 5,000 gns daughter of Mayson quickly drops into a seller.
Unraced second foal by Kyllachy out of a very modest twice-raced dam (Hot Reply). Whilst she is a sister to the 5f AW juvenile winner Al Asef, it possibly speaks volumes for her ability that she starts off in a seller.
Sepoy filly (8,000 gns yearling) whose dam Portland River was a French 1m-1m3f winner. Pulled hard on debut at Yarmouth last week (5f good to firm), but could fare better if electing to settle (hooded) with that initial experience banked.
Forecasts
Tarrzan (4/7), Willow Brook (11/2), Screen Queen (10/1), Go Annie Go (12/1), Bottleared (14/1), Hurricane Five (16/1), Lexikon (125/1)
A weather delayed start to the Flat season at Redcar sees the action commence with a fairly modest juvenile seller. The majority of those with previous racecourse experience haven't shown a great deal of promise. Tarrzan makes his first start for Mick Channon at a realistic level with Silvestre De Sousa booked, whilst Go Annie Go appeared to get the message late in the race on debut at Wolverhampton, so looks capable of progressing. However, with no great confidence, we'll chance the first time hooded WILLOW BROOK. She needs to settle better if to do herself justice, but the headgear will help in that regard, and she's partnered by the excellent Josephine Gordon.
- Willow Brook
- Go Annie Go
- Tarrzan
