Slight promise when finishing third of 11 beaten ½L in a Lingfield novice stakes over this trip when in the hands of Roger Varian before leaving that yard cheaply.
improving 86-rated juvenile and looked a little rusty losing the race at the start over C&D in March. More expected here.
Gelded Motivator youngster out of a Pembroke mare related to Treve, Pallasator and recent Haydock winner Moxy Mares. Market likely to reveal expectations.
50,000 gns gelded son of Footstepsinthesand out of a dam who won over 1m2f. Plenty to like about his second of six beaten ½L on debut here last month. Likely to be popular in the betting.
Ineffective debut when eighth of 17 beaten over 7L at Fairyhouse before an improved to finish third of eight and third of 12 here - C&D last time - on his final starts here as a two-year-old. May need the run.
Invincible Spirit colt out of a Verglas mare related to Kingman, Mayson and recent Haydock winner Mustaqbal. Each way prospect on debut.
Fastnet Rock colt out of a Selkirk mare closely related to recent Salisbury winner Fast And Hot. May need the debut run here.
Vocalised gelding out of a Spectrum mare related to National Stakes winner Verbal Dexterity and market likely to reveal expectations on debut.
Daughter of Footstepsinthesand out of a useful sprinter but made no impression on debut when slowly away well beaten 17L here in March. May find this a tough assignment.
Plenty to like about her seasonal debut here last month finishing third of six beaten 2¼L. Sure to come on for that run.
Daughter of Sir Percy out of a Mt. Livermore mare. Look a tall order on debut in this company.
Forecasts
Bond Street (11/8), Bucky Larson (11/4), Rapture's Delight (7/2), House Call (12/1), Insignia Of Rank (14/1), Rockabill (20/1), Brandy James (33/1), Stoicism (33/1), Alpine Peak (40/1), Yo Tambien (66/1), Footsteps At Dawn (100/1)
The Aiden O'Brien-trained Bond Street has had plenty of chances to get of the mark including missing the start here in March and any shortcomings in this contest will be addressed by the Ger Lyons-trained BUCKY LARSON who finished second of six on debut here last month in a promising display and can be expected to improve here. House Call third of six last time out on seasonal debut is possibly the best of the rest.
- Bucky Larson
- Bond Street
- House Call
