Looks to have rather gone off the boil of late on the AW although she looks capable of winning off this sort of mark at her best. More needed though and not hard to think that something is in better form here.
Thriving just before and when joining this yard and although his latest win came on the AW he has scored on turf. Ran well to be placed on back-t-back days in February (first two runs for this yard); slightly disappointing last time in better grade.
A dual course winner with one of those wins coming over this trip she's looked out of sorts of late on the AW. Mark continues to fall but showing little sign of taking advantage.
Has in the past looked to have some stronger form to her name but has only one once and is yet to win a handicap. Her mark continues to fall but she ran poorly on the AW last time and is hard to build a case for here.
Twice a winner here showing that he handles the course (both wins over shorter) but has run poorly the last twice on the AW. Had looked as though he was coming back to form earlier in the year and ought to be able to win off this lowly mark.
Formerly with Richard Hughes he offered little for his new yard over a mile on the AW his first run back from wind surgery. Still to win a race and this will be the shortest trip that he's tried.
Only form of late came in an AW claimer (had a tough task at the weights) and ran about as well as can be expected. Struggling overall though and others are preferred.
Lightly-raced sort who has only had four runs making his handicap debut as a four-year old. Yet to race on turf and finished last on his first try in a handicap. May do better but has plenty to prove given what little he has shown so far.
Forecasts
Krazy Paving (3/1), Silver Penny (7/2), Beau Mistral (9/2), Mercers (5/1), Pharoh Jake (6/1), Hangman Jury (11/1), Chip Or Pellet (12/1), Jakeboy (16/1)
This is hardly a deep contest to end the card with most of this crew struggling to find their form. KRAZY PAVING hasn’t as yet won for the Olly Murphy team having scored for his mother on his last start for her yard before she retired. The race he ran in last time was a decent one for the grade and he looks on a good mark here as he reverts to turf. Pharoh Jake is in the veteran stage now and needs to bounce back to his best but this mark gives him a chance and the same could be said for the filly Silver Penny who runs off a basement mark now.
