Won here off 3lb lower on Good Friday and was unlucky next time when getting trapped behind a wall of horses and not getting a clear run until too late. Had running left in him that day and strong claims to go in again today.

C&D winner last summer. Whilst he handles this ground his peak efforts tend to come on a quicker surface. Top rider booked for this return to action after a seven month break.

Loves it here and won over C&D three times in 2017 (all for this rider). Returns from a break just 3lbs higher than for his latest victory here and every reason to expect a bold showing back from a break.

Returned to form when fourth of 10 at Windsor (6f, heavy) on switch to turf last time. Only picked up in the closing stages. Slight drop in trip and slightly better ground could help today and dropped 1lb. Not dismissed.

Some 6L behind the Daley Express when they clashed here on Good Friday. 5lbs pull in the weights is unlikely to see him turn the form around with that rival and up against it. Has won over C&D.

Winner here over C&D in October last year. Was beaten a long way on return by both the Daley Express and Belledesert and has work to do to turn that form around.

Five time winner in 2017 and a consistent sort. Does tend to find life a little tough in this grade though and likely to find one or two too good.

Forecasts

Belledesert (5/2), The Daley Express (7/2), Handytalk (9/2), Our Lord (6/1), Titan Goddess (6/1), War Whisper (8/1), Major Valentine (12/1), Pastfact (14/1)

Verdict

Our Lord goes well here and won three times for his rider last season who gets on with him very well. War Whipser is well treated on his old from and could go well on just his second start for a new yard. The strong selection though is the DALEY EXPRESS who was a good winner here two starts back and just didn’t get the splits at a crucial stage last time. He is taken to return to winning ways today.
  1. The Daley Express
  2. Our Lord
  3. War Whisper
