Chynna¹³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Charles Bishop| T: M R Channon

9/4

Ran better than the form figure suggests on debut at Newmarket last time in a race that is working out well. Can progress from that for a stable in fantastic form.

Form: 5

(9)

Delagate The Lady

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Kieren Fox| T: M J Attwater

16/1

Delegator filly; plenty of speed on the dam's side but may lack the quality to win a race of this nature first time out.

Form:

(8)

Free Love

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Josephine Gordon| T: Tom Clover

10/1

Equiano filly who cost 10,000gns as a yearling. Plenty of speed in the pedigree and is entitled to be on the premises on racecourse debut.

Form:

(7)

Improvising

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: S W Kelly| T: R Hughes

10/1

Showcasing filly whose dam won the Austrian Derby but couldn't win a Class 4 handicap in Britain. Best watched unless particularly well-backed.

Form:

(2)

Laura Kenny

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Tom Marquand| T: H J L Dunlop

16/1

Dutch Art filly; not too much to go on in terms of pedigree but this sire's progeny typically perform better over a furlong or two further than this.

Form:

(4)

My Excelsa

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Fran Berry| T: George Scott

5/2

Exceed And Excel filly who cost £70,000 as a yearling. Should run fairly well but others, including newcomers, are still preferred.

Form:

(1)

On The Stage

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Liam Keniry| T: E Walker

3/1

Swiss Spirit half-sister to a couple of nice horses, including the Group 3 placed Projection. Worth a market check ahead of this debut effort.

Form:

(5)

Thegreyvtrain⁸

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: J P Fahy| T: R Harris

80/1

Yet to beat a horse home in two races and very tough to see her improving on that level of form to get competitive in this contest.

Form: 69

Forecasts

Chynna (9/4), My Excelsa (5/2), Kodinar (5/2), On The Stage (3/1), Improvising (10/1), Free Love (10/1), Laura Kenny (16/1), Delagate The Lady (16/1), Nananita (20/1), Thegreyvtrain (80/1)

CHYNNA ran well on debut at Newmarket last time to finish an excellent fifth in a race which has produced another winner since. With the yard in excellent form she may not even need to improve on that level of form to get off the mark here. Kodinar who is another who can be expected to follow up a promising debut run with another good effort, while On The Stage is an interesting debutante.
