Veteran who showed the fire still burns when finishing a close fourth of eight over an extended 2m at Newcastle in January. Runs off the same mark and slightly shorter trip should not be a problem.
Successful over C&D two starts ago and ran well off 5lb higher to be second of nine over 2m at Chelmsford on latest outing. Return to slightly shorter trip looks a plus and 1lb rise is fair.
Won over 1m5f at Lingfield in February, but has struggled off higher marks since then. Edging back down the weights, but still looks a little high.
Did not get the clearest of runs when third over 1m4f at this course last month. Runs off the same mark and extra distance of this contest is not guaranteed to suit.
Beaten less than 1L when third to Leoro over C&D last month. Reopposes on 5lb better terms and has major claims on a strict interpretation of that form.
Two runs since joining current trainer and has been well beaten in both. Has dropped 8lb since the first of those races and is likely to stage a revival at some point.
Five-race maiden, but produced her best display to finish third in a 1m6f handicap at Chelmsford in a first-time visor. Runs off the same mark and is tried in blinkers.
Behind Leoro when fifth of nine over 2m at Chelmsford last month on his second start for his current trainer. Needs to find extra to get involved.
Off the mark at the 22nd attempt and on first start for this trainer when scoring over 1m4f in a Wolverhampton selling handicap. A 3lb rise is fair, but no guarantee this extra distance is what she needs.
First run for over two months when only eighth of 10 at Kempton earlier this month. Dropping down the handicap, but has not been showing enough to suggest he is up to winning this.
Has won his last two starts over 1m4f at this track and finds himself on a 5lb higher mark. Obvious chance, but has to prove he is equally effective over this longer trip.
Sent off favourite and shaped as though the extra distance of this race would suit when third to Oyster Card over 1m4f at this venue last time. Has a 5lb pull for a 2¼L beating.

Leoro (6/4), Kerre (6/1), Conkering Hero (8/1), Koubba (9/1), French Mix (12/1), Captain Swift (12/1), Oyster Card (14/1), Pour L'Amour (14/1), Sevilla (20/1), Hallstatt (20/1), Caracas (25/1), Xhale (50/1), Ladurelli (66/1)
There is every chance that Koubba will reverse recent placings with Oyster Card, but both will do well to cope with CAPTAIN SWIFT, who was beaten less than 1L by Leoro over C&D last time and is 5lb better off. Recent course winner Sevilla has stamina to prove, while Conkering Hero did not get the best of runs last time and may do better.
- Captain Swift
- Leoro
- Koubba
