Landed three AW prizes last year and was generally progressive. Sported first-time cheekpieces, which are retained, when sixth of 10 in a LIsted sprint on seasonal reappearance at Doncaster and should be sharper this time.
Stable companion of Visionary who was having first run for this yard since joining from William Haggas when fifth of eight at Kempton earlier this month. A winner over C&D, he has dropped to a fair handicap mark.
Has been in good form this year, winning over 5f at this venue and Newcastle. Has been inching up the handicap and now tries his luck over a longer trip.
Won twice over this trip at Kempton last summer and has gone up 7lb since the first of those successes. Returns after a lengthy spell on the sidelines and may need this run to put an edge on him.
Experienced and capable sprinter who has been knocking on the door in three runs since undergoing wind surgery in January. Slight suspicion that he needs to drop a few pounds before getting his head back in front.
Loves this venue and has won on his last three runs over C&D. Has to cope with a 10lb higher rating than for the first of those victories and was disappointing at Kempton last time.
Four successive AW wins for David Barron before an unsuccessful spell in Hong Kong. First run for this trainer and it will be interesting to see if the market speaks in his favour.
Two runs this spring, but seemed to go backwards at this track last time following a good reappearance run at Kempton. Has questions to answer off the same handicap mark.
Couple of good seconds in March before finishing fifth of nine over C&D last time with Related behind. Each-way claims if returning to the form he showed before that latest display.

Visionary (3/1), Raucous (7/2), Tavener (9/2), Dark Side Dream (5/1), Maakaasib (6/1), Wolowitz (7/1), Excellent George (8/1), Zac Brown (12/1), Related (16/1), Dynamo Walt (33/1)
Tavener may be hard to catch if allowed to dominate and Wolowitz is interesting on his return to racing in England. Preference, though is for top-weight VISIONARY, who was progressive on the AW last year and should be sharper for his reappearance run at Doncaster. He looks the stronger of his stable's two runners and may be chased home by course specialist Excellent George, who can shake off a disappointing run at Kempton last time.

- Excellent George
