Racing well on the AW and should be competitive switching back to turf. Wins have tended to come off lower marks and 5lb higher than last turf success.

Caused a shock at Nottingham last season off 7lb higher so a switch from AW isn't a negative despite doing most of his running and winning on a synthetic track. Clearly needs to lead and couldn't get across last start so could easily bounce back.

Has been sliding in the weights for a while but showed encouragement despite hanging left last time. That was better and remains 11lb lower than when winning at Windsor this time last year.

Age: 5|  Weight: 9-3| J: Hayley Turner| T: C R Dore| OR:  50| D

Eased a further 2lb and now 19lb lower than last winning mark and interesting switching back to turf having shown much more when a running on third last start. Race wasn't run to suit and with more pace on is clearly well handicapped.

Racing consistently and posted another solid placed effort on the AW. Just one win from 35 starts is a worry and perhaps just lacks a finishing kick at the business end.

Mainly campaigned on the AW and needs to prove she is as effective on this surface. But gets to race off a 6lb lower mark and although behind Nag's Wag last time was stuck out wide throughout and may be worth a chance.

Lightly-raced and has been sent off big odds on all starts. Best run came on the fibresand and although will be better back at the minimum trip is hard to fancy.

Unplaced in five starts and returns to a handicap after being well beaten back in maiden company. Needs to find significant improvement.

Drop Kick Murphi33

On a long losing run and takes a drop in distance after struggling to make an impression over further.

Remains a maiden after 35 starts and hasn't been showing enough to recommend including back at this trip last time.

Inconsistent and hasn't won for a long time. Better form has come on AW but was beaten out of sight on his preferred surface coming into this.

Just one career win and previously unplaced in all five starts on turf. Hasn't posed any threat in AW races this year.

Eye Burnerv1124
Age: 4|  Weight: 8-12| J: Liam Jones| T: J R Jenkins| OR:  45

Has finished last in four of his five runs, first time visor applied and impossible to make a case for on what he's shown so far.

Forecasts

Who Told Jo Jo (11/4), Hurricane Alert (5/1), Nag's Wag (5/1), Drop Kick Murphi (7/1), Ask The Guru (8/1), Toolatetodelegate (9/1), Mighty Zip (12/1), Celerity (16/1), Popsilca (25/1), Tina Teaspoon (33/1), Give Us A Belle (33/1), Dollywaggon Pike (50/1), Eye Burner (66/1)

Verdict

Mighty Zip will be dangerous if getting to the lead and could easily leave his last run behind while Ask The Guru and Hurricane Alert should both be competitive. Nag's Wag looks well handicapped back on turf and willl be popular but TOOLATETODELEGATE is taken to reverse the Wolverhampton form having been stuck in the worse part of the track with no cover.
  1. Toolatetodelegate
  2. Mighty Zip
  3. Nag's Wag
