Took the Listed Cork Stakes for the second year in succession here earlier in the month before a game second to the improving Psychedelic Funk. Another bold show likely.
British raider last seen over this trip when finishing fourth of 16 beaten over 4L at Meydan in January. Beaten 1L in the Beverley Bullet in September off a 5lb higher mark.
Has a couple of pattern wins to his name but tends to struggle at this level and he would want faster ground to be seen to best effect. Not disgraced but a little out classed in two starts in Meydan.
Beaten favourite last time out on seasonal debut finishing third of nine beaten ¾L in a Naas handicap last month. Not one to totally leave out of calculations.
Solid and consistent over the summer on turf and ran with plenty of promise on return to the track last month in two starts at Dundalk on the AW. Needs to step up in this company.
Very promising juvenile back in 2015, but restricted to one run in 2016 and not at his best last year. Showed himself to be in good order on return when second of nine beaten a head at Naas last month. Needs to improve to figure.
Progressed last season and ended the year placing in Group 2 and Listed contests. Beaten favourite last time out finishing second of four behind Downforce here earlier this month. Not easy to discount.
Fairly highly tried last season ending with a 6½L defeat in the Group 2 Flying Five at the Curragh in September. Market should be informative.
Forecasts
Washington Dc (6/4), Son Of Rest (9/4), Downforce (5/1), Smash Williams (8/1), Final Venture (16/1), Primo Uomo (20/1), Gorane (20/1), Gymkhana (25/1)
Jockey Ryan Moore takes his second of three rides here on Grade 3 Phoenix Sprint Stakes winner WASHINGTON DC who should see off the advances of the solid and consistent Downforce who won a four-runner Listed contest here earlier in the month and can give the Ballydoyle representative the most to think about.
