Daughter of Thewayyouare out of a Footstepsinthesand mare, well held in AW maidens at Dundalk (1m/1m2½f) thus far and needs to improve for switch to grass.
Iffraaj filly, likely to have plenty speed on the dams side, wears tongue tie on racecourse debut, bears a check in the betting.
Filly by Dawn Approach out of a Mark Of Esteem mare, looked somewhat backward on debut in 7f Leopardstown maiden in October, likely to have more to say in time and yard in decent form.
Rip Van Winkle filly is a half-sister to three winners, including 1m-1m1f winner Blaze of Hearts.
Mastercraftsman filly cost €75,000 yearling and has some smart pedigree, appeals as one of the more likely newcomers for yard doing well.
Filly improved for switch to handicaps in two starts back in the autumn, likely will have further improvement in three-year-old campaign but stable a bit cold currently (0-24).
Filly by Helmet, didn't create much an impression in 6f maidens at Fairyhouse and the Curragh last summer. Plenty room for improvement on return.
Lilbourne Lad filly is a sister to 2yo 6f winner Forgotten Wish, stayed on for fourth in 1m maiden at Gowran Park in similar ground in September after a tardy start. Should be more to come.
Thewayyouare filly related to multiple winners, market likely to tell more ahead of this first racecourse outing.
Tagula filly, picked up for relatively small money, no impact on debut at Dundalk (7f, AW) back in the autumn, going down 30L and best watched for now it seems.
Half-sister to a winner on the continent and useful winning hurdler Jenkins, 100/1 and came home in her own time on debut at Dundalk (7f, AW) this month.
Vocalised filly is a sister to 1m1½f winner Vitalized out of an unraced dam. Likely to learn from this experience but booking of Manning a plus.
Dark Angel filly has some promising for in French maidens already and is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Barney Roy. Debut for Joseph O'Brien and looks a key player.
Forecasts
My Snowdrop (5/2), Chilled White (7/2), Wisdom Mind (4/1), Its My Turn (6/1), Hand On Heart (7/1), Cascella (14/1), Stormy Falls (25/1), Volatile Lady (25/1), Always In Step (33/1), Graceless Lady (33/1), Lady Boomerang (50/1), Survival Mode (66/1), Sun A Rye (100/1)
WISDOM MIND makes solid enough appeal on paper and has already shown some useful form in France for Criquette Head-Maarek. A tongue-tie goes on in first run for this yard and a winning start would not be a major surprise. Of the others that have run, My Snowdrop makes some appeal while Its My Turn should be capable of having a say. Newcomers Hand On Heart and Cascella could also form a threat.
- Wisdom Mind
- My Snowdrop
- Hand On Heart
