Dubawi filly, full-sister to a middle distance winner and dam a Group 3 winner. Yard's newcomers always worthy respecting and they could hardly be in better form in recent weeks. First-time hood slightly off-putting for debut.
A very consistent start to her career, placing on each of her first four starts on AW before disappointing a little when third of four last time. Sets a fair level for her rivals and gets De Sousa in the saddle; place claims if as effective on turf.
Oasis Dream filly, dam a Listed winner over a little further than this. Green on debut but may improve and first-time hood may help. Yard have had four winners from 10 runners in recent weeks.
Nathaniel filly, cost 62,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to a winner and dam a Listed winner over 6f. Unplaced but ran well on both starts to date; will need improvement here though.
Dansili filly, unraced dam a sister to a Japanese Grade 3 winner and half-sister to another Grade 3 winner. Yard in excellent form at present, debutantes usually need the run but not discounted and worthy of a check in the market.
Lethal Force filly, most recently bought for 37,000 gns as a yearling. Yard very good with their younger horses and this one has an interesting blend of speed and stamina in her pedigree. Market will be informative.
Declaration Of War filly, half-sister to five winners and dam a Listed winner. Ran to similar level on both starts, including over 7f here last time but needs more here and she needs to have improved Wears a first-time hood.
Camelot filly, cost 110,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a winner over 1m2f and placed at Listed level in France. Trip looks spot on for debut given her pedigree and trainer/jockey have won the last two renewals of this. Should run well.
Sea The Stars filly, cost 170,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to multiple Italian classic winner Cherry Collect amongst other Group 1 winners. Yard's debutantes often ready on debut and likely significant she has an Oaks entry.
Forecasts
Sea of Class (5/4), Asoof (7/2), Mythical Queen (6/1), Bubble And Squeak (9/1), Dono Di Dio (11/1), Ceilidhs Dream (14/1), Elenora Delight (33/1), Existential (40/1), Livvys Dream (66/1)
The debutantes for John Gosden and William Haggas look fascinating on pedigree and both trainer's are more than capable of getting one ready first up. Preference is for Mythical Queen given her trainer's record in this race and she ought to relish these conditions and the trip. Only narrowly preferred to Sea Of Class though who makes plenty of appeal on paper. Asoof can't be ruled out for the in form Saeed Bin Suroor
- Mythical Queen
- Sea of Class
- Asoof
