Speedily-bred colt who made a winning debut at Lingfield on the AW over this trip. Like a few from this yard he was well educated on his debut and stuck on to win well as he drew clear with one rival; capable of better despite giving weight.
Supported on his debut at Lingfield (his stable won the race the previous year) and he shaped better than distance he was beaten by. Maybe needs to settle a little better to be seen to best advantage but has ability and should do better.
Well beaten (16L) when finishing in the rear in the Brocklesby on the opening day of the Flat and now switched to the AW for his second run. Shaped as though he needed the run and should be sharper here.
First juvenile runner of the season for this yard by Slade Power and a half-brother to useful winner at up to a mile Wait Forever. Stable do have two-year-old winners but there may be one or two a little sharper here.
Half-brother to a juvenile winner over 5f Reboot and looks to have some speed in his pedigree. Makes his debut here and will be the yard's first juvenile runner of the season; might need this experience.
Most experienced of the field as this will be his third run having shown far more second time out than on his debut. That run came on the Fibresand so it remains to be seen how he takes to this having made his debut on turf (well held); more to come.
Yard had a good record with their juveniles last year and are already up and running this year. She's a half-sister to a couple of two-year-old winners with the dam also a winner at that age at up to 6f; one to note on debut in the market.
Forecasts
Jungle Inthebungle (6/5), Arthur's Spirit (7/2), Kingi Compton (9/2), Geography Teacher (8/1), Dancing On A Dream (10/1), Cococabala (33/1), Very Stable Genius (50/1)
Early two-year-olds races are difficult to work out but the Mark Johnston stable are always to be respected and quite capable of providing a first time out winner with the filly DANCING ON A DREAM looking good enough to go in first time up. Jungle Inthebungle showed he was sharp when winning on his debut and will go well despite the penalty with KIngi Compton and Arthur’s Spirit also expected to put their experience to good use.
- Dancing On A Dream
- Jungle Inthebungle
- Kingi Compton
