Lightly-raced individual, having shown good form in novices before finishing fifth on handicap debut at Kempton last time. Return to this course may well suit and he needs considering.
Won a couple of minor handicaps in 2016, but form since hasn't been particularly appealing and others hold more convincing claims.
Multiple course winner in the past, including over C&D, but difficult to fancy off this mark after recent efforts and vulnerable to younger rivals.
C&D winner who ran creditably at Kempton last time out. Also performs very well at this course, though, and apprentice rider is good value for his claim; one for the shortlist.
Had lost his way a little for Richard Hannon but has now joined this yard and makes his debut here. Needs a revival but has shown the ability to well at this level.
C&D winner at 40/1 two starts back but only sixth last time and is certainly not one to rely on.
Probably didn't stay 7f when stepped up to that trip at this course last time but general form at this level for previous yard was solid. Holds minor claims off this mark.
Debut winner back in November at Newcastle, but hasn't been able to build on that in two starts since and needs a revival down 4lb.
Slightly surprise winner when breaking his AW duck at Newcastle last time. Back up in trip here after a wind op, and 4lb rise is a potentially fair one and should go very well.
Fair form in two starts for Richard Guest but not at that level so far for this stable and is best watched.
Goes well here but all wins over further and likely to get outpaced over this trip on this stable debut and first run of the year.

Forecasts
Lord Cooper (9/4), Desert Fox (4/1), Seprani (5/1), Bobby Joe Leg (8/1), Juan Horsepower (8/1), Pulsating (8/1), Wediddodontwe (8/1), Logi (9/1), Invincible Ridge (10/1), Pea Shooter (12/1), Indian Affair (14/1), Royal Mezyan (16/1), Prince of Time (28/1)
It may be worth chancing that PEA SHOOTER can build on his (slightly surprising) first win at Newcastle last time, and up just 4lb having had a wind op there's no reason that he shouldn't go very well again here. This is a fairly open contest though, and others to consider include the top weight Wediddodontwe who has gone well here in the past and is lightly-raced, as well as C&D winner Lord Cooper.
- Pea Shooter
- Wediddodontwe
- Lord Cooper
