Tends to reserve his best for Catterick and although has run well fresh previously tends to better for the run. Weighted right up to his best.
Still a maiden but has never finished out of first three in five starts on the AW. Ran with huge promise on stable debut (formerly Mick Channon) and looks likely to progress for the run with 2lb increase unlikely to stop him.
Caught the eye on first run after a break when making late progress following an awkward start. Stable going well and looks a live chance. Declared at Lingfield on Wednesday.
Stable in form and relished the drop to this trip when winning at Southwell last start. Best runs have come when on the pace and has to overcome wide draw and a 6lb penalty.
Easing in weights and not disgraced last twice. Would need to lift further to figure here and declared at Lingfield on Wednesday.
Needs to work to find the front but has shaped well on two runs on the AW following an absence. May be worth waiting for a return to turf.
Only 1lb higher than last winning mark which came over this track and distance. Nearly all winning form has come at this track and feasible place hope down in grade.
AW debut and has plummeted in the weights. Totally out of form at the end of last season including in two runs for new stable and best watched.
Generally consistent performer and won with plenty in hand in similar contest over C&D last start. 5lb rise doesn't seem harsh and a reproduction will see him as a major player.
Hasn't won for a long time and very inconsistent. Hard to see him figuring from out of the handicap.
Like stablemate Give Us A Belle has struggled to get his head in front and while he has dropped in the weights this is a tough ask from out of the handicap and no record fresh.
Forecasts
Raffle King (11/4), Red Stripes (4/1), Powerful Dream (9/2), Strictly Carter (7/1), King Crimson (8/1), Fareeq (8/1), Zipedeedodah (12/1), Indian Pursuit (25/1), Kibaar (25/1), Percy Toplis (50/1), Give Us A Belle (66/1)
Powerful Dream should go well for an in-form yard if running here (also declared at Lingfield on Wednesday) while Strictly Carter would be a worthy favourite based on his victory here in similar conditions. RAFFLE KING is really consistent on this type of surface, ran eye-catchingly first up for his new stable and a win shouldn't be far away. Red Stripes shouldn't be sent off at too big odds considering his record at Chelmsford.
