Last two AW wins have come at Southwell and is falling steadily in the weights. First start for new stable at Doncaster saw him well beaten but he was slightly hampered and did show early pace. Not out of this with the drop to 5f.
Closely matched with Zac Brown after finishing two places in front of him over the C&D but is now 2lb worse off. Has been running consistently well throughout the winter and deserves a win.
Behind Compas Scoobie and Zac Brown over this C&D but got no run at all and duly scored next up in good style at Newcastle. Was due to contest a much more valuable race at Kempton but withdrawn due to lack of a suitable jockey and could follow up.
Ran well at this level on his first run since a wind operation in a competitive race over C&D before just finding one too good in another warm contest for its grade at Lingfield. Back at his favoured track for an in-form stable.
Placed at Listed level for Aidan O'Brien but has struggled in three starts for current trainer. Hung on both his last two runs and hasn't shown the early speed he had in Ireland, so not certain to be suited by the drop back to the minimum trip.
Open to more improvement than his rivals and last run can be forgotten as he was badly snatched up due to lack of room. 6lb rise from his previous win doesn't look a problem but this is more competitive.
Second quick run since Lingfield win and has been busy this year including two wins. Aggressive front runner who is dangerous if given too much rope but all his best form is at further.
Forecasts
Compas Scoobie (9/4), Zac Brown (3/1), Dynamo Walt (5/1), Leo Minor (7/1), Liquid (7/1), Poyle Vinnie (11/1), Tavener (12/1)
Tavener could set a strong pace and set this up for one of the hold-up performers. Liquid can put behind his last run and may progress again while Compas Scoobie and Zac Brown should both be competitive and are closely matched from recent C&D form. DYNAMO WALT got no run behind that pair and with the right breaks will be dangerous late again following his Newcastle win.
